Bad timing. She was overshadowed by Adele in her home country and her promotions were mediocre, leading to less exposure in her early years as an artist. She's on the rise lately though.

Birdy is quite famous. She has very high numbers on Spotify. I think she's not famous in America yet due to lack of promotion

It's not that they don't like the song, it's the name of the song. It was pretty silly of her because when people want 'Wild Horses' they don't want Birdy, they want the Rolling Stones

She is quite famous really, I mean both her first and second albums have sold over 1 million copies in the UK and her third album was certified gold in less than a year...
