At around 11 a.m. on October 17, 2023, a bird strike occurred at Haneda Airport RW34R when an ANA Boeing 737-800 bound for Memanbetsu took off. Two JAL aircraft (JL174 Embraer E190STD, JL584 Boeing 767-346) that were preparing to land went around.
