Bird Gestures
Ойын-сауық
We're taking a pause in our day to create some fast gesture sketches of birds! Maria Coryell-Martin explores the small pond near her house, spotting red-winged blackbirds.

Thank you so much for watching!
You cannot see the movement, your brain construct it from instances. When you watch waves, birds etc. suddenly shut your eyes. So there will be an image of moving object in your mind. Study this motionless image. Just as you took photo of it. This always works.
Please tell me about the monocular! What model is it exactly? Is it good enough for bird watching? I don't really enjoy carrying my binocs out on trail, but I need magnification for bird ID. Thank you! (BTW - watching while filling pans in the demi my daughter gave me for my birthday. )

Hi Josephine! This monocular is fabulous, it's a Nikon, 7x15. I think there's lots of good models out there, I got this one as a gift from my brother years ago. I hope you enjoy your Demi palette! - Maria

Not too chilly! We have brisk mornings but no frozen fingers (at least not yet). 🙂
