Welcome, today you have seen the restoration of a damaged bird drinker.
A drinking fountain or spring is an artificial device built for drinking not only for animals.
A drinker is one of the easiest ways to offer water to birds.
Thanks to it, your garden will get a special charm and will attract the life and singing of birds.
And where to place the drinker?
It should be in the shade, because in the sun water spoils and evaporates quickly.
And it should also be at least 5m away from the nearest bushes, in which a cat could be lurking, for example.

I like how you highlighted the embossment and figurine.. I am also glad to know that many years ago, no birds were harmed because they did not use lead paint.

Nice job. I liked the dry-brushing to highlight the raised areas. I use that technique on other things, myself. Cool.
Radek, you made an almost crude piece of work far more beautiful. Using filler with all of the gaps was a very good lesson, 👍 I learn so much from you! And thank you - again - for protecting our eyes when you weld. You are one of the few who do this courtesy.

Cameras come with filters. I have seen plenty of videos with no filter and my eyes are no different.

I gave a similar one to my grandmother years ago. She used it as a bird feeder. It was in the shape of a sunflower. Glad you covered up the cracks between the pieces. It looked really cheap with just the tack welds.
I love it !! Its cast iron 😳 everything seems to be made of plastic nowadays I love the blue it seems so fitting for this little beauty and those accents make those little details pop !! Thank you breathing life back into this little gem it looks AMAZING !!! 👍👍

Same! I'm outside of corpus Christi and I'm constantly changing out the water and keeping it as full as I can for them. The heat here is just ridiculous.
