I loved it when Steve bionically threw a metal pipe into the antenna that controlled the fembots and the antenna blew up and the fembots went dead. Dr Franklin was so scared and frightened that his fembots didn't work any more

The original Bionic Woman will always rock...no other actress can play Jaime Sommers so well except Lindsay Wagner. NBC should do another TV movie called the Bionic Grandparents. Their grandchildren get kidnapped & it's up to grandma Jaime & Grandpa Steve to rescue them. Those two will never need Ben-Gay on their arms & legs ( lol )!

I am part of Generation X, so I grew up with incredible TV programs such as The Bionic Woman that attempted to create a better generation of adults. If only Generation X could harken back to TV programs such as The Bionic Woman to remember the lessons the fictional character, Jaime Sommers, had tried to teach us.

This brings back memories, the good old days.

I agree, but the industry was already hating the fact she got the Emmy for Deadly Ringer and beating out Sada Thompson. They would've gone ballistic if she won twice for the Bionic Woman. It's too bad too cuz Doomsday is Tomorrow was a brilliant two parter

I loved that show.......

Great editing. I miss these type shows. They add to much electronic computer imagine now where back then it was a camera and slow motion affects much like Bewitched. Too bad computers ruin the affects these days. I was in love with Jaime Sommers. Still am. She's still gorgeous today.

This is one of the BEST most thought provoking and humanistic tv episodes ever produced, it's a total gem of writing and acting! Even after all these years, I must from time to time revisit Dooms Day is Tomorrow! Ohhh, and those Fembots, it's still thrilling and a bit creepy to watch, totally LOVE it!

I never saw these new episodes in the 80's. Their powers are much stronger here.

I've had a crush on Jamie Sommers almost my entire life. As great as Wonder Woman was I always preferred The Bionic Woman. Lindsay Wagner and Linda Carter both aged very well. I'm gonna find this series on DVD as nothing much on tv these days is worth watching.

Two Bionics, an interesting film. I like it.

You have a point about the hi-tech, but the 2007 version did not produce a good character; the show made Jaime Sommers go on the run wanted by the government. Whereas, the 1970's Jaime Sommers was a professional tennis player (before her plane accident), school teacher & semi-secret agent. She was not always on the run, and most female fans wanted her awesome apartment. She had a sense of humor, smiled, cooked & bionic dog Max was her faithful pooch she rescued. She was more positive & normal.

Oh yes the did all days Thank you for uploading this and so miss them wish I can order the videotape and find out where I can find the movies and order them God bless and happy New Year's to you and your family thank you so so much so much good memories thank you again

Mark Whalberg is bringing The Six Million Dollar Man to the big screen in 2016. If it does well there will be a franchise created which will introduce The Bionic Woman. The film will be gritty. Mark will play Steve Austin a secret service agent working for OSI. They are introducing this new universe to balance the super hero universe. Lets support this film so that we can eventually get a new Bionic Woman film off the ground.

I saw on 20/20 that Steve Austin hated the sound effects of the show and that he protested when they wanted Farrah Fawcett on it as well. He hated acting in some episodes and made certain that no more episodes would be made again (reasons still unknown). Farrah loved it but he didn't as well they asked his other 2 wives but they wouldn't due to him too. He hated the times when he had to be barechested in the hospital and other places due to his religion and bodysenses. He acknowledged that after 3 marriages that he didn't know what to do about getting married a 4th time because his religion wouldn't allow even 3 and the word would ruin him. They acknowledged that He preferred to keep Harvey Lee Young but his agent ripped for that and gave him Steve Austin for being an actor and easy to remember him by. He eventually remarried another friend as she fell in love with him and wouldn't take his fortune as the others did so he could retire from acting and live good while leaving his kids something as well. WOW, the articles you hear about while watching 2020. I had no idea as still at 52, still enjoy watching his show. OH Yeah, I saw there is another Western Show, I think it's Bonanza or Wagon Trail but not too sure, the man who played Oscar also played another character on that show too.

The new Bionic Woman in 2007 did not have one vital element of the mythology that the original Bionic Woman had. There was no Steve Austin. The new show may have had better special effects, but it lacked the heart and soul the original bionic couple. You can't have the Bionic Woman without the Six Million Dollar Man(roughly 30 million adjusted for inflation).

If the new Bionic Woman was more convincing why did'nt Michelle Ryan(Jamie Sommers) win an Emmy award like Lindsey Wagner for best actress in a dramatic series?

Mayans MC is a damn good tv show! It's got cool men's black leathers, motorcycles, tattoos, guns and fights... I love motorcycle gang tv shows! They're fucking awesomectacular to watch!

And the original Jaime had a Steve Austin while the new one did not. :)

... LOL!!! - good point, and Steve was bionic and the one that begged Oscar to save Jaime's life ... I watch 1970's Bionic Woman on Tuesdays nights, and noticed Jaime Sommers kissed a good number of men. Even the bad guys thought she was hot.

Part of the problem I have with the one shot TV moves for Austin and Summers is the music ..... hard to take that stuff seriously ... so it took away from the action sequences they are apart of ....

this is the only episode I recall without seeing it. I thought it was an episode anyway, I guess it was a movie. I remember the 7000 thing faked snakes to scare her off of one level

Yep, otherwise there would have been more Steve/Jaime crossover episodes had ABC decided to keep The Bionic Woman. It was a shame, since the Steve/Jaime storyline gave both shows and added depth that was lost when they were separated on different networks in 1977-1978. That's probably why ratings went down for both shows and they were both cancelled that same year.

WelI, wouldn't say "a good number." LOL There was plenty of Steve/Jaime action for the first two seasons of The Bionic Woman. The only reason they were shown with other people in their final seasons was because ABC didn't renew The Bionic Woman for season three and it got picked up by NBC, which made crossovers with The Six Million Dollar Man impossible. They didn't reunite until the TV movies.

In the TV episode where the Fembots are chasing Jaime Sommers through an apartment, the building is a very tall apartment building not a ''low-story building'' and the apartment window that Jaime Sommers jumps from is on an upper floor of the building which is too far above ground level for even her bionic legs to withstand the force of the impact with the sidewalk.

Francis Maxino - Didn't Jamie have a "Bionic Beauty Parlor" where she could have her bionics checked while she got her hair styled? I guess that sexist toy made sure little girls didn't become TOO empowered by her character.😶
