Bionational's Xenomorph Specimen - Accounts of the Earth War

While the USCM began its journey to the Xenomorph homeworld, on Earth, a competing company had plans of its own regarding the Xenomorph. This video explores the Bionational corporation and the Xenomorph specimen attained through Captain James Likowski of the cargo vessel Junket.

Look at the miserable way Bionational's scientists behave. Is it any surprise the Xenomorphs wound up infesting Earth? Whether it's Weyland Yutani or Bionational they're so arrogant thinking they can control anything and everything. Even worse they never learn their lesson. Great video. This is what the Alien sequels (following Aliens) should've been.

How they didn't fit every xeno with an acid proof collar or chip that could be detonated and kill said xeno if they ever breached isolation/quarantine is asinine. Then again, you'd never have compelling comics if these people were competent!

The scary thing is their experiments often yielded positive results. If given time and more resources, I have no doubt they'd enslave the alien species. However, they are very sloppy and don't take enough precautions and are ethically bankrupt.

The small detail about the trigger pull caught me by surprise. People not familiar with using a weapon especially a pistol do not realize how trigger pull can cause bad aim. I'm left handed so I could have a tendency to shoot to the left side of a target it is vice versa for a right handed person. If the trigger has a strong pull to it squeezing it will make it turn as you pull it. This little detail shows how much thought was put into this comic. Very accurate!

A.G. Jaxx The comics are brilliant you’d love at least the first 3-4 stories; Book 1 (Outbreak), published 1988-89, Book 2, 1989-1990, Book 3 (Earth War later renamed ‘Female War’) 1990, Aliens Genocide, 1991-92 (I think it concluded in 1992) and Aliens Hive,1992. Book 1 was 6 issues, books 2 through to Hive were 4 issues. For myself a lot after that were not so good. They were just mad scientists experimenting on Aliens, the other good story was Aliens: Colonial Marines, but that was a bit hit and miss. You can also get the first few stories in hardback graphic novels released last year. Volume 1 is book 1, volume 2 is book 2 and Earth War. For myself I liked the first stories the best, then around 1998 after having the franchise comic rights a decade they rebooted it for the firs time. I only got the first series Aliens: Apocalypse: Avenging Angel I think it was called. A bit of a mouthful. That showed the Alien that had grown in a Space Jockey. In the Dark Horse comics, the Space Jockey wasn’t wearing a helmet in the first film so looked rather ‘elephant like’. I far preferred that to Prometheus’ version. It always looked to me like a head fossilised in Alien, not a helmet. One reason I wasn’t too hot on the DH comics after around 1992 is I’d read them for four years and was just drifting away and losing interest. Also the Predator comics when they did Aliens Vs Predator for me were much more exciting. I think in comics they were more suited to action adventure like Aliens, than Horror in Alien. If you decide to give some a try I’d love to know what you think. They’re great stories. Sorry for the long post.

SiegeTF , Yeah that does sound good. It wouldn't be an Alien style comic at all but more of a Judge Dred/Blade Runner/Black Widow kind of comic, but it is would give incite into Weyland and the Jutani merger. You could get concrete facts about why they find the Xeno so valuable, not just a vague answer like warfare/genetic super soldier but a problem that only a Xeno could solve and cause no backlash. Ugh the best ideas never answer questions they create new ones.

I've always wondered why Weyland-Yu never tried a partial surgery to ease the chestburster "Birth" perhaps a modified C-Section under heavy sedation. But then again, I suppose human life was not their primary concern. That spiel of the amniotic structure being like cancer is also a minor issue, as synthetic organs were available as noted in the few characters in the Aliens universe.

  • @Xenotaris

I don't remember Weyland Yutani ever getting their hands on a person implanted with a xenomorph embryo. I know Bio-Nat did and so did the Systems Alliance but never Weyland Yutani. Elizabeth Shaw doesn't count since she did the C-section on her own and it was at a time before Weyland Corp merged with Yutani Corporation.

The way the comics read to me was that when the Chestburster torpedoed out of the victim it automatically smashed into the Bionational man’s chest. I always figured the creature was a bit stunned after that. But I’d imagine they’d need to capture it as she would want to escape to grow and breed freely. I love your interpretation though and filling in the blanks from the story. I did love the pilots dream of escaping the facility to freedom and when he turned to his wife he saw a fully grown Alien warrior. Creepy.

Well done I'd given up on the Alien shite until I came across this. Clearly, I should have stuck with the expanded universe and graphic novels.

T:08:50. "Insulation" and "Isolation" are two different words. They don't sound like each other. Isolation is the word you wanted to say.

Two questions for alien theory and fans: -Is it possible to clone an army to fight the aliens like Star Wars -can aliens be detected using thermal , ultraviolet vision like soldiers do in Star Wars ( Boba Fett, storm troopers , and etc ), Mass Effect ( alliance soldiers, Cerberus, and etc) , or Fallout ( Enclave and Brotherhood of steel) -does the lack of plasma weapons like blasters , lasers , and etc that exist in other franchises that I mentioned above that can easily kill the alien?

I know that they don't show up on infrared, they were able to ambush the Marines in Aliens with that trick. Though the AvP show that there is a visual spectrum that makes the Xenos stick out like a sore thumb. The marines do have heavier weaponry available to them but don't use it often, probably due to high collateral damage, or more likely the authors haven't remembered Hudson's lines in the deleted scenes of Aliens. I'm not sure about clones, might be a bad idea considering what Xenos do with prisoners, but you could mass produce combat androids then you have all the benefits without the problem of casualties becoming new hosts/baby mamas.

Why combat droids? Simple robots with acid resistant plates (would the weight of armour be worth armouring them?) and either simple programming or a simple datalink to a simple digital overmind seem optimal to me.
