So as a freshman in Highschool, I was on the cross country team. There where only three of us for the school, all first years, and I was the only woman. However, the three of us trained together. On one occasion, we had to play tag where I would be tagged first and never catch someone else without them letting me. They beat me in sprints, endurance, and speed every time. As a biological woman, I will NEVER win a physical competition against men. Full stop. Always being weaker than my male teammates made me feel so unmotivated because I knew I couldn’t compete on their level but I still had to. It was demoralizing and it sucked. If I were a woman who would’ve won an Olympic medal if not for a man competing with me, I would be beyond pissed.

yep, its disempowering women by letting mentally unstable male into womens sport one thing about my views (a bit more right leaning) and those that are similar to me is that we argue based on facts, thats why we fight radical feminism but ALSO fight for women rights, girls that are raped by supposed transgender women another thing, why arent left leaning individuals more open to discussions as well as civil discussions? they would rather assault, refuse to talk, act like children? Feminists have sold the idea that SEX DISCRIMINATION IS WRONG to society. Fine. We'll just apply that idea consistantly. After all, few MEN can compete in sports at a high level either. 99.999% of men AND women are excluded from winning an Olympic Gold Medal or millions of dollars in a tennis or golf tournament. Why accept women excluding men so they can earn awards and honors only because sex discrimination is permitted?

Pretty sure he and his cabinet were informed and presented with factual evidence a few years after 9/11 that Iraq didn't have WMDs, but didn't they continue to plow forward anyway, wasting almost a trillion tax dollars over the last 20 years? Isn't the country in major debt right now to the point that the debt ceiling had to be raised in order for the government to continue operating? What I get from this is that Issac is an incredibly compassionate person and he wants for everyone to be happy and satisfied. He just doesn’t realize that he’s favoring trans women over biological women. He’s not prioritizing their happiness or health and that behavior is fed by the modern atmosphere that tells you who to protect. It preys on compassionate people who want to help but end up in this cycle. The only way to break free is to understand that everyone can’t be happy all the time and sacrifices have to be made. A compromise must be found.

It isn’t a “want” dude. Because it isn’t properly debated females have been forced to accept males in their sports. I rarely watch tv, let alone sports. I remember how dudes reacted to a female who had played soccer being a kicker (?) on a college or pro male football team. Her debut was a fail and the female bashing intensified considerably. “See, women can’t compete against men”. Yet the same men have not been publicly supporting girls and women against competing with males. If you had in decent numbers we wouldn’t be in this situation. I think it was in the 70s when a trans woman was trying to compete in women’s pro tennis. I can not remember how good or bad she was. But the huge outcry against it from both sexes nixed her career. This time around the supporters were armed, ready, and had gathered media and leftist support. Women and girls were, to me, backstabbed. If they said anything, they were bullied and “canceled”. An international famous gay female tennis player who had been active in LGBTQ who opposed trans women competing against females was “canceled”. The media censorship of any that oppose this is terrible. They act like a pack of dogs tearing apart a cat.

Your people make the argument that people like Lea will come in and squash the composition. Clearly, that is not the case. Also, there are lots of rules and regulations that trans athletes have to adhere to before getting in the pool with their identifying gender. It is scientifically proven that males and females can insert the same amount of strength if they have the same muscle mass. In order to compete, Lea had to be on estrogen, a catabolic hormone that prevents protein synthesis in muscles for over a year. Sports is literally for entertainment. Idk. I have queer and trans friends and I just care about them and have listened to their stories and have gotten to know them as a human being first and foremost. So my motivation to “justify” their existence isn’t for acceptance of my peers, I just genuinely understand and empathize with their plight. Not sure how that plays into your idea of our motivations though lol

@@JonPawesome you can "justify" your friends existence, that's great. In fact you should "justify" everyones existence, seems like the right thing to do. Take for example the female athlete who has been training her entire life to be the best at her sport only to be unfairly matched up against a biological male. seems unjustified. My main point is this guys inability to admit the fact that males have an undeniable physical advantage to females in almost all facets. and he knows this but dies on this hill anyway for what I would assume is for the acceptance of his peers. Do you get it? and your motivations disregard logical reasoning.

@@JonPawesome Sympathizing with someone does not mean you accept their ludicrous ideas. You don't believe a guy that is seriously overweight going to MacDonalds every day destroying his body will ever make it to the Olympics on the swimming team do you? At least not while doing that to his body. So neither should a transwoman who alters their body be competing against women. A person who is trans has a disability. People need to stop making it sound differently. Just not to hurt feelings. I understand that they have it difficult and they need support. But to throw that out of the window and pretend they are just normal is not normal. They already want to be seen as "just women" when they are not. And also competing in sports with other women, that is pretending to be something you are not. Take a trans of their meds for a week and see the result. Catering to them is probably the worst you can do, and it does not make anyone feel better. Another great-great risk is that a woman might die or get permanent damage from competing with a trans woman. Be it in martial arts or contact sports.

Serious athletics is about a lot more than winning, it''s about pushing yourself, it's about overcoming doubt, learning discipline and expanding what you once thought were your limits. It's about developing mind and body awareness and capacity to the highest level that you can and the unique joy that comes out of such intense focus. And then, and only then, does it become about trying to best your opponents.

Ya gotta give Isaac credit for perseverance, trying to defend an untenable position. I think even he realized that around halfway through the conversation. I also think that when he went home after that discussion he may very well have done a lot of thinking about what Steven taught him with the statistics and other data. He may not change his stance on the subject, but I do feel that he's probably going over that position again in his head. I definitely appreciate how courteous he was. That's often rare in discussing many of these sorts of topics with someone on the left who disagrees with you. So it's quite refreshing to see. He's obviously an intelligent young man, and I think he's just sticking to what he's been taught repeatedly, most likely throughout the majority of his schooling. It's so odd that society is trying to shift into this mindset where it's okay to upset a large number of people in efforts to avoid upsetting a small number of people, because we don't want anyone to be upset. (And perhaps "upset" isn't the best choice of words but I think you know what I mean. Maybe "treated unfairly" would be better?). It's almost as if whoever complains first is for some reason deemed to be right. Case in point: There's a small lake in southern California that was built many decades ago (1960's I think?). It was built for the sole purpose of dragboat racing and has been a hugely popular place ever since. It not only provides a wonderful venue for thousands of racers and race fans, but it also generates a huge amount of revenue for the local economy in the way of patronage at all of the local businesses. Everything from hotels to grocery stores, gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. Anyhow, so someone decided to build a house on the hill above the lake and then started complaining about the noise. They are battling tooth and nail to try and stop them from shutting down the races. Which, by the way, there are only six of per year. So it's okay to upset/be incredibly unfair to thousands upon thousands of people, because this new person is upset? Maybe not the best comparison but I'm sure you can see the similarities. It makes an awful lot of us think "Why on earth did they ever entertain this nonsense in the first place?" sort of thing. It wasn't that long ago that society would have told the person at the lake "Oh boo hoo. Stfu. You're the one who bought a house next to a race track." But in 2023, for some incredibly bizarre reason, one or at least a very very small percentage of people's feelings trump the feelings of the overwhelming majority. Regardless of how incredibly unfair it is to the majority. I would question how well society is going to continue to function if we continue trying to modify the world every time someone gets their feelings hurt or doesn't get their way. It's like we're living in an episode of the twilight zone. Sigh. Anyhow, thanks for listening to my ramblings if you're still reading this and have a blessed day y'all. Stay safe out there.

Doesn't liberalism teach that women and men are "equal'? don't they say that a woman having premarital sex is the same as a man having premarital sex? don't they say that male and female athletes should get paid the same salary even though men's tournaments generate 1,000 times more revenues than women's? If men and women are indeed 'equal" then sports shouldn't be segregated anymore.

Many people don’t have to imagine, similar things happen with parents who pay for their child to pay and get selected instead of the higher skilled player who’s parents don’t have the same resources. But yes I agree it sucks.

The problem with not caring if a man dresses as a woman is they keep moving the goal post. Now a man can simply put on lipstick or a dress, and walk into women's bathrooms and showers. We have men identifying as women being placed in women's prisons. There's a case in California where a serial rapist decided he was a woman and was put in a women's facility. Shocker, he graped his cell mate. Shocker, she got in trouble for reporting it because their jail is "Inclusive". We also have men dressed as women at women's abuse centers. Women just want a safe place with other women who went through abuse. They can't even do that because there are men in dresses trying to counsel them. Slippery slope is an understatement. Did you know that p3dophiles are now saying that calling them p3dos is not OK? They even have a new name. They call themselves M.A.P.S. ... Minor Attracted Peoples. Lies never win nor lead to anything positive. I call a duck a duck. I'm not playing pretend to placate these sickos.

Usain bolt in under 8's 100 metres? This generation live on FANTASY and FEELINGS. This will not end well, and it cuts no ice because his fantasy is calmly debated ... You're making excuses for their mental illness yourself friend? We need to admit the lunacy and protect womens right to fair competition ... and stop giving men with autogynephelia a 'woman of the year award' We're encouraging fantastical degeneracy. This is generally a precursor to socieatal collapse ... 'Rome' being a prime example.

How is this issue not obvious, especially after what we've already seen in combat sports? Seems like a nice kid. Give him a few years and some more growing up, and I think he'll turn into a fine man. This conversation is going to show him that if you pull your chair up to the table, then you better have your answers, and if you can't back it up, then be mature enough to realize that maybe there was more to this subject than you thought and it may require more thought and/or research. We're right sometimes, but we're wrong sometimes. We go with what we see, learn more, and move on.

So a few years ago when I was in year 9 I decided to try something hilarious. A female friend of mine told me that the girls were doing basketball during pe, so I went to the headteacher, said I was trans, and without question they put me in female pe classes (not changing rooms). Needless to say it was like boxing with 5yr olds. Oh and the day after I just transitioned back. What a fucked world we live in.
