What a horrible person. This was only a few months after Britney’s family established the illegal and abusive conservatorship. Lynne was complicit and benefited from the trauma Britney had to endure. She makes me sick.

She didn't push anyone into anything lol. Britney herself has said in multiple interviews which you can find on KZread that she pushed her mother to take her to auditions and to move to NY. Get your facts right, sis.

Uh Lynne spears 100% reaped everything she could have from her one successful kid. JL and Brian aren’t successful, we only know the rest of the family by proxy of Britney. It’s beyond disgusting that a mother would do the things Lynne has.

@87jesm I don't recall Britney walking around naked. Britney and Jamie Lynn had a normal childhood? They both went to regular schools in Mississippi with ordinary people. They all grew up in a tiny bungalow until Britney built her family an estate in 2000. Britney says fame is all she's ever known, that is because she's chosen to be that way. All she has to do is go back to Kentwood to fade into a life of obscurity that her younger sister has managed.

She broke up Britney's first boyfriend when Britney became famous although she's always been approved of him. She's got a team of lawyers to "look out" for Britney unsolicitedly. Now Brit broke down, she wrote this book exposed all the things she had covered up. And when things got difficult, she had people kidnapped Britney into rehabs just after pretending to believe in her daughter. She's hell sure one stage mom.

Britney being made to leave her boyfriend was probably the first very bad thing to go wrong. He was there before the fame and the money so you knew why he was in the relationship. She could have took him with her, say it's a packaged deal or no deal. I mean sure Brit and JT had that nice and pretty perfect look but that's also what is wrong with it to pretty and to perfect that you can see half of it is manufactured, the entire beginning of it all was manufactured and produced. Britney needed someone she could really trust to be there and watch out for her and I think her first boyfriend would have been the best person.

You were ahead of your time!! Everything has come out now and validated what you’ve said. Britney’s cousin Ali confirmed that Lynne drugged Brit to get her into rehab. It’s unreal. I’ve been making vids trying to help expose team con!

I can't help but noticed the book says "Mother of Jamie Lynn, Bryan and Britney Spears" Where is if it were in oldest to youngest it would say "Bryan, Britney & Jamie Lynn Spears" but she put Britney's name at the end so she could say Britney Spears so it would sell more copies. I'm not hating. I like Lynn, but I'm just stating a fact.

Lynne seems like a very loving,beautiful person to stay so grounded through everything, i love everything about britney and the book "through the storm" was so honest and beautiful =) xx

I’m from central Louisiana. Which is 30 mins from kentwood.

In our own simple lives we all go through massive hell & heartache. This book shows the power of perserverance.

Lynne is not a bad mum, she was trying to tell people that Britney was just like every other teenager; had sex, tried drugs, drinking. And if you don't understand that, then look at our society today. Just because Britney's famous, doesn't make her any different from you and me. And Britney being 'innocent'? Y'all were complaining when BOMT came out! I know, as being a britney fan, it's hard to understand that Britney did drugs cos she was inspiring to children, but you have to face the truth.

I don't see what was wrong with the book, I think it's good for people to know that so much was being hidden and covered up and it really wasn't Britney's fault this was all the studio and management, they were creating a product, practically the entire beginning was fake and manufactured, I mean Britney's personality happened to fit the mold of it as did her appearance but she had to hide a lot of stuff in order to present what they wanted her to present. Like why is Britney going to cry? Did those people really make her feel that ashamed about her past? I don't see what was wrong with it, she was in love with a great guy which I've read he continued to love her years after, the only wrong thing I see is her giving up a guy like that in trade for a guy who is more fitting for her image, yeah I am sure there were real feelings but JT wasn't half the guy her first boyfriend was seeing how he ditched her and then made a song to bash her.
