I'm back with another video on my new, to me, Mercedes E320 Wagon. I'll be troubleshooting the electrical problem and doing a compression test to identify the engine misfire on cylinder 5 and 6.

Those engines are notorious for head gasket leaks. There is an additive you can add to the coolant that changes color to verify exhaust is leaking into the coolant system. If the body is clean I'd say go for it and do the head gasket. As far as names go Wendy (the wagon) William (the wagon) aka Bill Gertrude (just sound right for the old gal) Best of luck 👍

Appreciate the names! I have a block tester and used it on the wagon. No color change. So if there’s a head gasket leak it’s not leaking into the coolant.

@@YogisGarage Gotcha, are you thinking it's leaking between the cylinders?
seepage is fixable as well as rubber stuff...great shape for 200K miles.

Hi Bennett, those are Quick Jack adapters and are for sale on their website. They’re for SUVs but work well on cars with those type of jack points. Thanks for watching!
