    Does this help with green ponds or ponds showing signs of algae or would you recommend another product to target that on its own?

  • @ThePondAdvisor

    @ThePondAdvisor

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes it help by processing the waste, depending on the amount and type of waste it might be a case of wet dredging with a pan net then bio lake. Natural clay ponds if green will not clear with just bio lake but a bare liner pool will minimal waste the bacteria 🦠 from the food of the single celled algae.

    Would you advice gravel on a koi pond then? As I asked a koi group recently and most people said no to gravel due to holding bad bacteria

  • @ThePondAdvisor

    @ThePondAdvisor

    Жыл бұрын

    The gravel is not the problem it’s the filtration system. If you have the correct size pump and mechanical filter instead of a pump on the bottom of the pond, then it’s way better to have gravel.
