Binging with Babish - How to Make Apple Pie
Ойын-сауық
Did you know that Oliver Cromwell banned the eating of pie in 1644, declaring it a pagan form of pleasure? You can find this and more fun pie facts at www.piecouncil.org - or join with me in the idolatrous orgy of fall flavors that is homemade apple pie.

The horrible story of a man that was forced to connect his youtube account to google+ totally correct although part of the joke, at least in the movie, is the threat that the cook's nasty bodily fluids were actually incorporated into the cake

These videos are amazing. The flair that's added with the music and humor easily makes this the best cooking show. I'm sad though because now I have to wait for more video's. This was the last one I had to watch on the channel
Yeah he definitely does sound stoned AF lmao
This is my favorite cooking show ever. Your filming, technique, descriptions, everything. Keep it up Andrew Rea, love it!
I highly recommend adding a sprinkle of cardamom to your spice blend, it adds a subtle floral flavor and elevates the rose like notes of apples.

Watching the video is pretty much as great as eating the pie! Another great job Andrew.
For the past couple of months, I've been learning how to cook. This was the first pie I ever made and it was a hit on Thanksgiving! Thanks for the help!

Holy cow I've seen so many of your videos and never heard this one after you've "sipped tea". This is gold.
This really makes me want to see you tackle some of Jenna's crazy pie concepts from Waitress. Such an underrated movie. (Even more so since it was overshadowed by the, admittedly much deserved, popularity of the musical adaptation.)

Amazing! I have 2 questions though: - It is unsalted butter or butter with salt? - How much weights a butter stick?
@RudeDudeMikeTMTheRudeDudes

sorry this is 2 years late but you almost always use unsalted butter when baking so you can control the salt content of the dish. also one stick is 4oz or 113g
I'm no expert at being stoned, but he sounds more sleepy than Spicolli.
Man! Your cooking show is the best. I've been binge watching these for the last couple of days. Could you please also write the recipes in the info section?

Came to rewatch this because he said he was high during the voiceover on reddit.
My 92 year old grandmother taught me how to bake an apple pie from scratch. This is essentially the same recipe but instead of latticed its covered entirely and instead of butter its butter flavored shortening. It adds a very rich flavor and flakiness to the crust. Family secret ;)
