to be honest, it isn't a creation that is hard to come up with. When you get several hundred thousand people with similar enviro-social upbringings, trying for the same goal, with similar or downright the same ingredients on hand.... It's like getting a hundred people to roll a 6 sided die. A lot of them are going to have the same roll, with no real way of knowing who, how many, or even a certainty that no one else got the same thing. Except maybe they got a 6, so theyre proud about it and wanna claim theyre the only ones.

paul alexander I made a krispy creme burger without knowing about the Luther burger. But I only used one doughnut and cut it in half and inverted and toasted them so the glaze melts into the meat and the outside was warm and crispy, best burger experience I’ve ever had

Wouldn't surprise me if there was a food truck that sold 'em. Can't tell me there's not someone in LA who would go out to Krispy Kreme, buy six boxes of donuts, and just sell burgers out of his truck for twenty bucks a pop. That's straight-up Street Food there.

I made a Luther once after watching that episode years back. I didn't go quite as far as these guys did, since I only used a 1/4lb bacon cheeseburger on a Krispy Kreme doughnut cut in half, but I figured it was close enough to give me the idea without inducing a coronary. It was tastier than I thought it would be, admittedly.

We have a burger joint here in California called "Apollo Burger" and those mad lads not only have The Luther on the menu, they have a Double Luther variant. I tried The Luther once years ago and I think I still have residual itis. 10/10 it was perfect

God I love the Luther burger. There's a burger shop here that makes the luther burger with 2 krispy kreme glazed donuts. The reason why I love it is the mix of both sweetness of the donut and saltiness of the burger patty into a perfect blend of taste. It doesn't use chicken, but just beef patty

A Luther burger tip from me to you: make the patty a reasonable size, like a third pound, and only use ONE donut - cut it in half like a bagel, and flip the halves over so you handle it by the cut side. Keeps your fingers clean while you eat.

The Luther is absolutely delicious. The lasagna looks great, but a lot of time. Thank you for doing this.

That lasagna is one of the very few things Babish has ever cooked that truly looked like it could kill you if you enjoyed too much of it.

Doesn't seem that out of the ordinary to me. It's just raw chicken, pre-cut. Most people can cook that. Now, if it was a deer and he had to pull the skin off, remove the gall bladder, drain it of blood, etc... That's from scratch.

There's a Lutherburger restaurant in VA. They scale it down a bit and make their own doughnut buns in house. The doughnut is split in half and grilled. It has more of a bun like consistency and stands up well to the juiciness of the burger.

I've been re-watching the Boondocks and just watched this episode. I wanted to see if the Luther made it on Binging; glad to see it did.
