When I went to France with my family when i was younger we had this bakery that was below our hotel and every morning for breakfast I would get a chocolate crossiant, it was probably the most delicious piece of food i've had to this day, and i had it every day for probably a week. A close second would be stroopwaffles (I don't know if there's a weird spelling or not) that I got hot and fresh in Amsterdam, the cold and stacked storebought versions don't do them justice.

Let's talk about "Pain au Chocolat" in France : very tough subject. Basically, what we see in the video is a "Croissant au Chocolat" not exactly the same thing as the well know pain au chocolat, that is not folded as a croissant (as we can see further in the video, and they look awesome !). France is divided between two areas, South-West that calls it "Chocolatine" and the rest that calls it "Pain au Chocolat" : its a very well know little joke-like war between these areas. This joke is sometimes too intense as some people can take it too seriously. There is a lot of others designations in some regions and I let my comrades tell you what they are. That was my TedTalks thank you.

I love your croissant dough. You made it beautifully, and they came out wonderfully flaky. However, I can't help feeling like your chocolate croissant is lacking in the chocolate department. In Montreal, we spread finely chopped dark chocolate over the equilateral triangles before rolling them, to give a better chocolate-to-dough ratio, as well as a delightful swirl throughout. Your chocolatines are far better These are movie-accurate, but if I were to make at home, I would want more chocolate for my troubles. Keep being awesome Babish Team, and thanks for the enthralling videos.

I feel like you'd do a wonderful take on "Hero Sandwiches" from Omori. However, I choose to up it a bit by customizing the Hero Sandwich to each character in Faraway Town! It would also be a great time to do this since Omori just came out on Switch. Here is my personal take on each character and each of their sandwiches. Sunny - Basic Sandwich: Sliced Ham, Cheddar Cheese, Romaine Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumber with Light Mayonnaise. Side: Regular Chips Drink: Water Kel - Spicy Sandwich: Spicy Ground Beef, Pepper Jack Cheese, Chopped Tomatoes, Onion Rings, Bacon, Sriracha and Habanero Sauce, Chili Pepper Flakes. Side: Extra Spicy Chips Drink: Orange Joe* Aubrey - Protein-Filled Sandwich: Applewood Smoked Ham, Capicola, Prosciutto, Mortadella, Pastrami, Mozzarella Cheese, Provolone Cheese, Caramelized Vidalia Onions, Mustard, Spicy Mayo. Side: Salt and Vinegar Chips Drink: Coke Hero - Gourmet Sandwich: A5 Wagyu Steak, Panko Breadcrumbs, Double Smoked Gouda, Iceberg Lettuce, Sauteed Mushrooms, Special Teriyaki Steak Sauce\*. Side: Waffle Fries or Mari's Cookies. Drink: Fresh Squeezed Lemonade Basil - Vegan Sandwich: Avocado, Tofu, Cucumber, Spinach, Beets, Red and White Onion, Tempeh Bacon, Ajvar\*. Side: Quinoa Drink: Water/Iced or Sweet Tea Mari - Sweet Sandwich: Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Sauce, Cookie Crumble, Strawberries, Whipped Cream, Caramel Sauce and Chopped Banana. I know this sounds counter productive to croissant making but I would have thought adding shaved or chopped chocolate to the croissant butter then add the compound butter to the dough would make the croissants have layers of chocolate flavor instead of just one single spot.
