2024 I have 3 receivers already but at the cost of each one in Australia I probably will watch this video again and again to avoid issues. Thanks for sharing what may seem basic but I believe being safe is better than sorry .

It's the K.I.S.S effect. So many people I've watched over the years with binding transmitters talk way too much and over info and confuse you with talking about shit you figure out as you go. 🤔 I liked your way very simple short too the point. I have this transmitter and it's the most user-friendly transmitter binding out there. Great video.

You definitely helped me to do the binding but you are Also patronising at the same time.

helped me, definitely not a waste of time! For the money this is hands down the best radio on the market for RC. You get great ergo, and a gyro and all the other basic features needed. Same receiver in Futaba (no gyro built in) is 4x the cost.

Thanks, this helped me today because I bought a 2nd hand flysky and I'm a newbie and the transmitter didn't come with that little bypass loop. So I was trying to work out how I can bind it as the manual wasn't helpful. I just found some wire and bridged across. Thanks for this!

Well I for one am glad you made this cause sometimes my dumbass syndrome kicks in an I need visual input.

Dude I just realized how freakin cool that test station is. Looks like all stock Tamiya electronics that aren’t for us once into the brushless power. So instead of chucking you put them to great use man. Excellent idea.

It’s all done with the transmitter

The manual lists the GT5 and A3 as compatible, but I have learned: You can make them talk, by fudging the steps. HOWEVER, a GT5 and A3 are never exclusively bound, just kinda. When a GT5 is bound to a BS6 and on the GT5 you attempt to click over to another truck, you get a message saying you are not allowed to switch trucks until you power-down the receiver currently bound. HOWEVER, when the GT5 is talking to an A3-equipped rig, you can keep turning on other A3-equipped rigs that have previously gone through the bind process (up to 19 in theory) and watch them all steer at the same time, back up, go forward. I am told that this does not create interference with other owners' trucks. I very much hope this is true.

How funny I have the same remote well I have the flysky not the hobbyking as u know from us talking in the past, but I put two videos up yesterday n was gonna put a quick vid up on binding the gt5 cus I also have the gt3c n tried to bind the gt5 with a extra gt3c receiver but they won’t bind so I’ll have to buy more gt5 receivers

Steve Declark , I have a hacked version of the gt3c to make it a 8ch that I have no idea how to run properly, I wonder if those recievers will bind to the gt3c

From what I can see only the gt5 receiver will bind. If you need help on the setup Corey I can help with that.

i think the visual is to set end points. like ow far your servo throughs.

i've read the FS-GT5 doesn't bind with the FS-A3 receiver, even though it states in the manual it should. is this true? has anyone been successful at getting this to work with the FS-A3?

I think if you want a cheaper 3ch or 4ch receiver you can go with the fs-bs4 or fs-bs3 will work with the gt5. Not sure if the ones you mentioned bind with it or not

Will this receiver work in a plane?

I'm having issues with binding my fs-bs6 with my flysky fs-g7p controller. Bind plug - check, power from esc, receiver blinking quickly, on fs-g7p hit the start bind function. Never binds.

How do you turn on the Gyroscope? I am using my car but there is no Gyro activated. Please help. On my RadioLink, i just press the Bind Button three times. Thanks

I just bought it yesterday but when i try throttle trigger it didnt work properly. It goes backwards when i pull and it goes forward when it should be brake/backwards. Maybe u can help. How do i fix it?

I've heard that this won't bind to the normal flysky recevers. Can anyone confirm this and explain why?

I tried to bind to a normal Flysky receiver and it simply won’t bind. I guess they are just different signal codes or something.

What if you do this but transmitter still says bind and receiver still flashing red?

Thanks for help :) One car work. Any chance of video or info with binding multiple receivers to one Flysky transmitter? I have 3 cars and must bind every single time before use. Can't find any info about it :/ so you're my last hope :)

Vincent Rodriguez with the Gt5 each receiver is bonded to a specific model. So when you bind a new receiver to it, you must be on the model you’re wanting to setup for. I have 5 vehicles on mine without issue.

@@ExocagedRC :) I did as you told. Model 2 works fine. Turn off model 2 and switch to model 1. Turn on receiver, LED blinks and car doesn't respond :( Led certainly shouldn't blink, so something is wrong. Do I have to use the same bind cable? Because each receiver has its own. I don't know whats wrong I do, but I just learned to bind one receiver today ;) I'm new, that's why I asked. Tomorrow I will repeat everything again but If I bind again, should I change all settings to 0% or 100% on the transmitter? or EPA etc. can stay as it is now? One more ;) How should i insert a bind cable. Not sure where is +,- I'm not even sure if it's important, but I prefer to eliminate all mistakes. Two metal teeth up or down? ;) I hope you know what I mean. Thanks one more time for help :) Probably I'm only one in the world with that problem ;)

Vincent Rodriguez we were all new to this hobby at some point in time so any question is good here. If I’m running model 1 for a truck then I have to bind at model 1 for the receiver that goes in that truck. Model 2 is the same way and all the way down. Switching the model on the radio will not allow it to control anything on any receiver unless it was specifically binded to that exact receiver.

@@ExocagedRC I didn't know that. So I always must have a bind cable :) I saw that the traxass transmitter can be link with several receivers and I thought that it can also work here ;) thank you for the explanation :) I really appreciate :) Now understand everything :)

I have an ae1 speed controller for my crawler that I bought 7 years ago but I can get the throttle to work but the steering does any ideas what im doing wrong?

You probably just need to calibrate it to your radio. Instructions are online.

I'm guessing I got a faulty one, it worked twice then lost bind and won't bind again. Kind of disappointed, I thought maybe I was missing something on the rebinding process.

Is it possibel to trimming all 6 channels?

you get sub trims for all 6 channels and normal trims for channels 1-4

InnerFireGlass Graham no sir it will not. Each manufacturer has their own protocols so only their receiver works.

InnerFireGlass Graham you just gotta order the ones that are for your transmitter. Hobbyking may have some knockoff receivers that work. You’d have to search around their website to find them

It always fails for me till it all of a sudden is binded with no indication. Very frustrating as I'm currently trying again with a reciver that was binded and working last week same remote. Fml

Some one know if this work with traxxas udr tsm and link app funtion

Too complicated for me I wish they could make binding much more easier!!😁
