I think you are looking at it wrong. To paraphrase my favorite musician, he may not get 10M views on a video, but he'll get 10M total views. Actually, his channel has 11M views. Add up all the views of other channels featuring him, and I bet the number is impressive for a Blue Grass artist. And anyway, who cares?

This music don't belong ( no offense) on any darn site...) they are an elite group and I appreciate them sharing this. They will have a million star's. They will hit tops of the charts and this is indicative of the dedication I see and hear from them.God bless✌❤

Loving Billy Strings music. I just discovered him myself too. Check out Steeldrivers early years with Chris Stapleton for more progressive Bluegrass.
You have witnessed a pure talent a legend and bluegrass put back in the public's ears.

The whole show is great, but Running on Empty is out of this world!
So much talent and skill. When Billy steps outside the conventional box its never too far and always in the right direction :)

Billy and Band are one of the best acts out there. Absolutely amazing musicians and if you are like me and didn't get a great musical education on this amazing genre and the players who made it what it is today they will teach you!!!! I for real have learned history from these dudes. Big Respect
Hottest band this 60 year old music fan has seen in a long long time. Thank you Nugs for leaving it up.

David Barry I’m 57. This is timeless ageless music. The true mark of great art is it’s appeal to all. Age race and gender are no barriers for Billy’s music. I knew this before I saw his audience. It’s like living water. There’s NOBODY that doesn’t like it

Good gods almighty these boys are on fire! Away from the Mire is sublime.
Simply put billy strings is such a refreshing plug in of great music when to me the scene was getting kinda..... well stale. These two sets are 🔥🔥🔥 Thank you for putting this amazing team of dedicated, great jamming & hard working pickers together and taking it across the country for us all to get a listen too. And thank you nugs for capturing it for us all!!!! Much appreciated & Keep on keepin on!

I couldn't agree more, Jay. he's just coming from a mix of styles and influences that its just a refreshing sound. And yeah i dig it there's other bands out there doing similar stuff, but his guitar playing abilities coupled with his (or their) songwriting skills, his extremely talented lineup of players, throw in great voice good looks, youth and the appearance that he's not out to kill himself with drugs or alcohol, gives me hope for the upcoming generation of players. Fir thevfirstvtime in a long time im excited about music again!

I've never saw a recording of a bad set they did. They literally slay the Genre!
Billy you embody the younger jam culture that my kids are part of and is reminiscent of the hippie culture.
Can't believe they played "Tipper"!!! I haven't heard anyone play this other than Tony Rice!!! Its my ring tone! Truly talented musicians.
Incredible. Watched a lot of Billi but this is probably the best so far. Seldom scene is probably my favorite bluegrass and doc for flat picking ballads. Love Allison Krause. This guy has the voice for bluegrass that can't be imitated only born and bred... The range of his voice is not bound to bluegrass though, maybe even more impressive than his playing.🙂
I hadn't listened to bluegrass in at least 30 yrs. Now that someone turned me on to Billy I can't get enough. Just bought tickets to the only local show that hasn't sold out ages ago and can't freaking wait !!!!
That china doll was excellent. Billy’s voice was made for it, Jerry and Robert Hunter are smiling down on this one.

Finally someone making a splash in music that isn't FILTHY and talent-less. You have to have SKILL to play this music.
It's great to see a band like this, solidly rooted in something, then pushing the boundaries from there. Sparked by Billy's amazing talent, vision, and seeming good nature.

His stage presence is so amazing, I couldn't imagine him being like a dick in person, I would be so sad.
They are real country, welcome to the new bluegrass-you can bet by their up and back , or what I've always called 'Up and Down', picking they play the mandolin-and probably fiddle. It is really just all about fun to people at a "Bluegrass CONCERT" somewhere in the quiet side of town where someone who loves Bluegrass invites the mostly professional grade folk musicians to his maybe five acre yard to bring their stand up bass's and other straight bluegrass hardcore got to have instruments, Mandolin, fiddle, dulcimer, and anybody who can play the fast changes on something he can play, plays their instruments. Nobody who is a friend of one of the people who was invited, would be turned away. And there is a beautiful cool feeling southern evening with the wind blowing not to loud, but gently blowing any bugs away- the sounds of around 20 groups of four or 5 or 2 or many more groups to come and play outside on the Large Yard, and you could just use the owners Sweet OLD Southern archtechture type home with the porch all the way around. It is a nice home and anyone invited can use the owners home respectfully- the old guy grew up in that setting- where they even trusted strangers if they could play three or four chord changes super fast. Yes it was and that old guy was young and even I might have seen him there, this is southern country and it is gentle, there is peace and anybody who can play an instrument can come. It is basically living in a world where anyone who can do the discipline it takes to become well enough thought of on an instrument to be invited can be trusted. It was around the fall of 1984 or 1985. The world sure changed but they did not. That sound is from the heart and soul of what Bluegrass Music was about. Country in the country in a field of grass and musicians where the real sounds are ethereal.. It is a very rare music because it is an accoustic art that goes back into the trees and air and ears around them and that makes any kind of artform in music that is good and disappears into the air and only the part of planet that was there hears it-Those sounds a really a rare art and it was great for me to have been invited to one . I am sure it is absorbed, it is an art type of thing that is for the moment only. That other old guy when he was as young as the Strings kid. I might even have seen that old guy when he was a young guy because I heard a lot of great Folk Musicians in about 60 of the last 74 years. I just listened to them and my brain for names does not keep up with stuff that my brain was totally absorbed in. I might have heard that old guy when he was a young guy, say 1982 or 1984. At a place like that. Joe

I liked bluegrass, but now I love it. Billy Strings is an amazingly talented guitar player. Would love to see him up side of Dave Grisman. He wouldn't sell anyone short. Trying to make Shakey Boots in Atlanta 2020. Not a country and western fan, but I expect this show will be memorable. Fantastic guitar player with a good heart(read about Dad's guitar).
At least I now have a favorite bluegrass band. And hopefully I can catch in Ft. Wayne or a couple days later for 4\20 in Detroit.
