I have studied the life of Mr Branham from a historical standpoint. He died long before I was born. I don't know if he had the experiences he spoke of but I certainly hope he did. To have someone in our time with the power promised in the great commission is reassuring that the Bible stories of such are true and that God is still interested in us and our wellbeing. I don't know why it's the nature of Christian Pharisees or Evangelicals to attack any reports of miracles or to loudly reject and condemn one called by God to bless a part of Gods people with a gift and a message, they may take that message and to others, as Branham's son and Pearry Green have done. We really don't need to rip to shreds Mr Branham's character, his humanity, or every word he spoke. That sense of "I know better than all you stupid people" who foolishly follow a man claiming to be sent by God. He can be judged by those who listen to him, by his fruits and how he blesses others. If you choose not to accept the man's teachings or his miracles, that's fine, what isn't is your satire, insults, personal attacks, and less than honest claims of Mr Branham's actions. Respect those who believe in Mr Branham's mission, if you haven't anything g good to say, hold your tongue. Branham's followers don't worship the man, Branham does!'t take the place of Jesus or the Apostles and teachers in the New Testament t church.

Thanks for your comments, Bobby. I had been to so many full gospel churches and found some truth and some unbelief in God's word. Even looked into Mormanism, but one day I visited a church that followed the teachings of Wm. Branham and on the way home God translated our car 30 miles without any time passing. It got my attention and I can see the truth now. I've talked to many of these people who were around the prophet and see that he was a person that God revealed Himself through.

Neil, I don't know where you fellowship, but for many of us this vindicated message has caused people to live by every word of God with the signs that follow believers, like laying hands on the sick for healing and using the spoken word to bring about supernatural happenings. All this takes place with the true baptism of the Holy Ghost and the faith it produces.

I used follow the teachings of WB and when to meetings in Melbourne and sydney for 4 years but I found it not perfect ,and people waiting for a rapture ,i was in a crisis so I ask God then what is the truth ,then I found out ,WB never talked about the separated Christian community ,the city of God ,and having to go out side of the church to talk ,the building is not holy ,he have baptist traditions ,and the bible does not say about an end time Elijah,WB said that Billy Paul would see the coming of Jesus ,we will see ,there is more truth you have not found .

Congratulations. You have a stronger unbelief than many others. Healing, signs, and miracles are God's way of vindicating a "sent" one. Also, accurate prophecy is God's way of vindicating a true prophet.

In the early days of the church the apostles were give great power and authority to confirm their words with great signs and wonders following. The gospel message was then "sealed" with the approval of God as fully and properly vindicated by heaven. Then there is no need for repetition. This is primarily why God said "God has placed in the church" gifts in a way that pleases him and accomplishes his purposes. He made Elijah a miracle worker years before HIS own coming then make John His forerunner do not one earthly miracle yet his witness was the most powerfull of all old testament prophets. This proves signs and wonders are no longer necessary for confirmation. I am not saying they would not have them in the local churches but it is not necessary nor can we demand from God. This is why Satan can,in these last days receive authority from God to do great signs and wonders and deceivable works of unrighteousness and lead millions astray.Why? Because signs are no longer the basis for confirmation. The WORD has already been CONFIRMED. This is why you can have a man work all the miracles like Branham did and still be lost-"did we not cast out devils in your name?" yet "depart from me you workers of iniquity for I never knew you". How is this possible? Cause signs and wonders were no longer necessary for identification. Did you know that the purpose for divine healing is not merely for restoration of bodies but that men repent...? But today because false prophets do the same signs Gods witness is by integrity of the word preached causing others to lay ahold of Christ and his teaching. I have been a devout message goer and I know categorically this message is not of God. Liars must be proven biblically then rejected. Branham added to God's word. He added to Paul's list of qualifications for ministers or elders. He added that a man must marry a virgin wife to be ordained a minister. Now that is heresy. There are many other things that I cannot express now. But I am bold in saying I think my conscience is clear in declaring that its all lies. I hope to give others this same boldness in examining this intensely indoctrinating cult.

Jason, You talk like someone who has been indoctrinated by the Church of Christ (so called) or a similar denomination. Jesus plainly said "These signs (Casting out devils, speaking in tongues, supernatural power, etc.) shall follow them that believe" and he also said "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also". 2. In Lev. 21:7-14 God commands priests to marry virgins and not widows or divorced women. There's nothing in the New Testament to change that. Paul only added that a preacher or deacon must be the husband of one wife. It is incorrect to say that it's all lies when everything the man taught was exactly what the scripture says. Is there any other doctrine that you have that disagrees with the written word of God? I spent a long time going from one church to another trying to find truth and found that all denominations believe part of the bible and they also reject part of the bible. I moved to Utah to even look into Mormonism. While there I heard about an interesting church that was 80 miles from where I lived so went there once. On the way back home God translated us as well as our car 30 miles, which got my attention (before you say that is unscriptural, check out how God translated Stephen in Acts). If God has used Moses ,Elijah ,john,Paul that is just the mercies and faithfulness of God to his promises. Is it safe to build monuments to these men and keep looking back at them and exaulting them to the status of infallibility as this message has done to William Branham? Absolutly not. William Branham is to "the message" what the pope of Rome is to the catholic organization.Move on. Let us move on in Christ and stop "glorying in men" as God has commanded us. One of the best things after receiving the Holy Ghost is that He will lead us into all truth. As you will notice in the old testament, God kept sending prophets and messengers to get His people to repent and turn back to Him. That is the purpose of each messenger. He is not to be worshiped, but to be listened to for what we need to please God. When we walk in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin and whatever we ask, we receive from Him because we keep His commandments and do the things that please Him. Glory to God, the Word works. I encourage you to believe in the written word as it is written.

He even quit preaching until the perpetrators of that doctrine repented. You are no doubt sincere, but sincerely wrong "Thus Saith the Lord". Yes, there is a new name and I guess that only Bro. Branham, like Joe Riley Testimony #1 and #2 in Abbotsford, B.C. and I think he gave his testimony in other places too. Also there is "An Eyewitness Account" by Tom Brown and many others who were able to see the wonderful works of God in our day. There is the faith to move mountains coming!
