Not sure where you're taking this opinion from, but Stevens has always been hailed as one of the greats of his time..he played for one of the top singers of a decade (Idol) and the biggest artist in the world... (Michael Jackson) just to name a couple.

Fit and professional. That’s how most rock stars make it to old age. Tons of examples-think of any old rocker you know. Even Ozzy made it, though he had to marry a nursemaid nanny to help him. Jk love and respect to Ozzy!

Always such a perfect, phenomenal voice. Balm for eyes and ears. I'm watching and singing this right now (12.6.2024). What a perfect performance. My still N01 singer for 42 years since I've been listening to him since I was 14. To this day, I listen to him regularly as if he had just released all those songs. Each one was a hit and was played at discos and parties. I listen to them today as on the first day with the same enthusiasm and passion. It's like it hasn't been that many years since I've been listening to them. That's why all his songs are timeless hits. Billy Idol forever in the heart of a Croatian woman.❤️🇭🇷❤️

I remember more than ten years ago when Billy was hosting a music event. My mouth dropped as he sang during the intermission. I thought, Billy should get all the prizes!!

My jaw just dropped with that finger picking in Rebel Yell. What an insanely gifted guitarist. Billy sounds better than ever, no loss of octave like other rock singers who suffer vocal abuse. More talent on show here than most acts in the world today.

Steve Stevens criminally underrated. A lot of those hairspray guys of the 80's got way more credit than they deserved. However, this guy flew under the radar. He was a fuckin beast! Versatile as hell!

It was always about Jake E Lee, Warren DeMartini, George Lynch, and John Sykes. Whenever Steve Stevens was bought up. It was that "oh yeah moment" I FORGOT ABOUT HIM! Him and Steve Lukather (Toto) suffered from that. They were better than all those dudes. It was their genre that didn't give that guitar hero label. Thats all I'm saying.

Steve is playing rhythm AND lead. Phenomenal performance. Billy sounds better than in his prime. Such clean vocals.

This acapella living room is sooooo great!!! Billy and Steve are a perfect duo for decades now. With 57 I remember the 80ies very well when their first songs came out (still outstanding music) and immediately felt that these row guys are going to survive for decades while many of the rest will stay one hit wonders... Both are completely full of talent and made for each other. 👌

Steve is a monster rhythm guitarist, and in my useless opinion, that is one of the best compliments you can get as a guitarist. They are the gift that keeps giving. Billy looks and sounds great, too.

They both are so extremely talented with their instruments! Steve is such a legend on the guitar and Billys voice is still absolutely brilliant and he is a great singer. I'm glad they both met and created history together. Hope they'll be able to make music for another 20 years at least. ❤️

Rock school lesson. Pay attention people. This is how it should be done. Steve covers so much range, it is magical. Billy is as good or maybe better than ever. Together they are truly legendary.

Steve Stevens is an absolute monster on guitar. Totally underated and came up with a shit ton of awesome riffs along with technique and feeling. Guitar now, no thanks. I'm only 53. Kids are spoiled now. No creativity or individuality..They learn everything for free from the internet. No hard work

Dude, need to get your hearing checked. His voice definitely is not the same as when he was 30. Pitch is off, voice has lost power. Its exactly what you'd expect for a guy 30 years later. Not saying he can't sing at all, but there's no way this is him when he was younger

Yes you just have to give credit to these guys and others like this still out there rockin and rollin and actually not sounding bad at all. Time can steal from you however these guys, yes they showing their age, but the spirit of their heart to still play music blurs the line and we’re take back and 21 again. Thank you- keep on keepin on.

Damn, Billy sings better now than when he was 30! What a talent. And Steve is such a great guitarist, he plays acoustic (even classical) guitar like he was using an electric one! Fantastic concert

It kind of is electric, it's an acoustic/electric so it's both.

I knew Steve was a killer guitar player, but stripped down like this you can really hear how inventive some of those classic licks are. And Billy sounds great. His voice has aged like a nice scotch.

Just like wine, they get better over the years.

For me Billy Idol still has one of the greatest voices in Rock & Roll. Steve Stevens is just as great on guitar. He could always bring the house down. More of them should have been made available by the music industry. I've always wondered why they seemed to have disappeared from the mainstream. What a great proof of greatness this video is.

Steve Stevens is such an incredible guitar player. Great gelling of Steve's guitar mastery and Billy's singing style. Loved it. ❤❤❤👏👏👏

Steve Stevens, the most underrated talented Guitarist i have ever heard ... he would deserve a star place in the guitarist hall of fame.

Having Steve there is like having an entire orchestra with one instrument. What an amazing guitarist and musician.

When Billy talks he’s such a gent, but then he shows that intense fucking animal energy that snaps your head around when his snarl breaks the posers fake imitations.

I had to check the cabinet and, yes, it still had a few fingers left. With the bottle of Rebel Yell , I sang along, "more, more, more!". Ole Billy got warmed up by that third song. Steve still shreddin'.

@@ElizabethBSoCal Billie reminds of Johnny Halliday, some very famous french-belgium rock n'roll average singer becaming great once he aged. He made his greatest live performance when about 50-65 yo. Check Johnny Halliday Diego Orchestral 2019.

His voice is on point. Most iconic guys lost the vocals but Billy still brings it

Probably because he stopped the drugs & alcohol...reasonably early b4 they took control. Plus ➕his children helped him. Dam!!! Steve steven put some weight on..still a awesome guitarist 🎸 by far.
