Steve is an amazing rock guitarist and unfortunately his problem is Van Halen. He will stay always under EVH shadow just like Nuno from Extreme. Look at his guitar here. I just ran into Steve Stevens last month, first tim meeting him,, what a badass dude. and yes I still go nuts after all these years, I saw them at the hard rock in 2002 amazing show and there still doing it strong !! Billy's voice still sounds great !! A true rocker

Nothing like indoctrinating your children, that's what I do. From the time my son coud speak I would tell him rap and hip hop suck and then play my stuff that he now loves. He turns the dial on the radio quicker than I do when a rap song comes on.

Steve Stevens is one of those underrated guitarist who deserves a bigger podium in my opinion....🤘🏻

No studio record producer has ever had control over the live FOH desk and sound engineer crew, let alone the venue, audience and passion experienced by all in the moment. Record 'Producers' stay the fuck away from live shit. No need to tell a producer. And no, you NEVER sound the same live as you did in the studio. It is technically impossible. Because the studio you are recording in simply processes their signal, and outputs a mastered artistic and colored 'print' of your work. Not how you actually sounded in there.

Steve Stevens reminds me of another wonderful guitarist I admire: Mr Mick Ronson (who worked with another charismatic singer - D. Bowie). Similar attitude, versatility, sound and talent.
