I do not think Rev.Graham actually meant that Sr.Elizabeth...He probably meant there could have been atheists, Satan worshippers or non-believers who wouldn’t want to be in Heaven! Unless a person believes in John 3:16 and accepts Jesus in their heart are going to Heaven. But at that last moment, maybe many prayed to God. We do not know nor should know.

@@channelingusllcix3512 Forgive this response being 2 yrs later but perhaps it may come at a time people need to hear and understand...Rev. Graham meant exactly what he said. There is one way and one way only into the Kingdom of God and that is through Jesus Christ. Sadly and it's very sad.. there were most likely many who did not make it to heaven. God has given us warnings and blessings and His son! Those who do not accept and follow Christ will condemn themselves. God sent the way, the truth and the life..Jesus Christ.

The circumstances behind this message by Billy Graham are amazing. The FAA had banned all civilian aviation in the United States after the attacks on 9/11. When they put together the service at the National Cathedral, they asked Billy Graham to speak. He readily agreed. However, they had the problem of how to get him to Washington, DC to speak at the Cathedral. On the day of this service, September 13, 2001, the aircraft that flew Billy Graham to Washington was the only aircraft in the skies over the US. America's Pastor!

Not a saint, a good man but not a saint. Billy Graham was a sinner like all of us, but he did what was needed to be done. He repented of those sins and trusted in Jesus alone, he gave his life to Christ and became a preacher, and then he was called home on Feb. 21, 2018. God bless!

Rev. Graham was our National Pastor... He was our pastor who when we had good and bad thing's that happens in our nation.. He brought county together many times... Thank You .

I was never more proud of this amazing preacher as i was on this heartbreaking day,he spoke with so much passion about giving ourseleves to the mighty Lord as we never know what day God will call us home,so be ready everyday of this life.Thank you Mr.Rev Billy Graham you were one of the best and i continue to listen to your wonderful messages and try each day to live by the word of God. R.I.P. #1 Preacher.😊❤

I remember watching this on the day of his sermon. This country has been blessed to have Billy as long as we did. I miss his sermons so much. Saw him just once in Seattle - and it was the last time he ever spoke here. I hope Billy is not uncomfortable from a body that has served him well for 96 years. God Bless you, Billy Graham.

Dear Lord we thank for the life and work of your faithful servant Reverend Billy Graham; may he Rest In Peace and enjoy eternity in Your Presence. I lift up every person who made a decision for Christ though his ministry and ask you to draw them close; call them back to the Cross; remind them of their commitment, and sanctify and strengthen them spiritually that they would be able to stand in this present darkness. I remember hearing this live on TV, shattered by what happened on 9/11, changed my life. Death put everything in perspective and what was more important in life. I gave my life to preach the gospel since then. If there was evil, i believed that there had to be good. I still believe that. This message of Billy Graham will always be remembered as the most important message. 22 years later we still need this message and prayer for all the world.

As significant today, September 2021, as it was two decades ago. There still is hope when we change our lives, turn to God and live according to His will.

I lived in the United States between the years of 1998 and 2003. I was 6 years old at that time but it still feels like it happened last week.

As this date is recognized around the world as a day we prayed as one nation, one world, one humanity, under one God...Billy Graham, reminds us so eloquently that this was not a day of defeat, but a day of victory!!! Could this have been the message God was trying to show us, let’s hope the sacrifices of the NYC people and families were not lost in vain. Billy past away while I was in prison for dancing in public, it was a very sad for me too. He too had 11 letters in his name like Jesus did.

When so many in a nation turn their backs to the Lord; their backs to his words, love and laws, the Lord God lifts his blessed protection from. It was true 9/11/ 2001 and it is true now. God does not condone Evil; the Lord may yet permit it to remind humanity just how futile life can be without God's blessings. As a reminder to turn back unto him; to repent and get ourselves... everyone of us... to return to how Jesus Christ would have us live. In peace, harmony and love for one another.

Please pray for my children's abusers to be caught and stopped and prosecuted to the full extent of the law and for my children to be brought home to me safely this year in Jesus's name. Please pray specifically for God to cause the irrevocable uncovering of the TRUTH to uncorrupted authorities.

Unfortunately we as Americans did not repent of our sins and now we are under Gods judgement! This was our one chance to turn away from our sins and serve God first!

I love so much BG and his preaching. But the greatest need today of America it is not hope, it is repentance and to rediscover the fear of God. Away with pornography, divorces, abortions and a doggy doggy Jesus. Thank you good and faithful servant for all those years of spreading Gods word. We are still listening here in Ohio in 2020. You left behind a beautiful family to continue what you spent your whole life doing. Franklin Graham lead the 2020 prayer march with tens of thousands showing up in DC. It was a stand for God and model ethics,and prayers for Trump.

Terrorists and sin suck! It makes me feel bad that that day where we can live on earth with no sin isn't today

I feel like in this times in America we need that even in 2024! We need to join together like we did on 9/11 and not steal, kill or destroy our beautiful country and people but help one another, love one another pray for one another- We need Our America back.
