I just remember, as a young black person in the 1970s, turning on the TV and watching this white, deeply Southern, Bible Belt Evangelical pastor, preach to a whole stadium full of white people cut from the same cloth, that _racism is a sin._ I almost fell out of my chair. He was a voice crying in the wilderness -- at that time, almost all of his peers were still either quietly or openly segregationists. That's how I knew Rev. Graham was a true servant of God, teaching the Lord's truth. Nothing I ever heard from him, from that day til the day he died, ever showed otherwise. Rest In Power, Reverend.

I tell this story to many people , I have been blessed to meet several people who knew Billy personally. Some were neighbors and others were family friends but here’s the thing that stood out. Every single one of them said the same thing about Billy , he was genuine , his belief in God , belief in the Bible was so simple-even child like. I read this about Billy’s ministry early days, when it first started Billy had a partner. His partner was more educated and a charismatic speaker but Billy had simple faith and lived what he preached. Long story short his partner left after a period of time and wrote a couple of books on atheism- he completely lost his faith. Billy went on to a long and storied list of achievements in service of Jesus Christ. He ran his race and he kept the faith , Muhammad Ali had 1 hilarious story about Billy picking him up at the airport in his own car ( no driver ) Ali said I couldn’t believe his story. He lived just like he preached , no mansion or servants , no yachts or private jets . That was Billy a humble servant of Jesus Christ

Billy Graham would’ve never recognized Morons as Christians before 2012, and only did so when he could barely walk or talk, when Mitt Romney was running for President. I’m ethnically right in the middle, I don’t think having racially negative views/opinions are sinful, but it becomes extremely sinful when you mistreat someone over them. In other words, if someone thinks “this dumb half____ is stupid” when they see me, but they’re as nice to me, as they’d be to anyone else, I don’t think God would have a problem with that. But if they’re like, “I’m not gonna help you because you’re a dumb half____” then it becomes a sinful. I don’t think there’s any such thing as racism, only right and wrong, good and evil. Opinions are just opinions, IMO haha

Not everyone in the world belong to Jesus . On my those who have out their faith in Him are children of God. Jesus clearly says that no one can snatch anyone that the Father gives him and vise versa with the father . He also called the Pharisees children of the devil abs that their father was the devil because they rejected him. Only true believers belong to God the rest belong to Satan the god of this world as the Bible states. Read John chapter 17 it talks about who are his as well and John ch 1 talks about people becoming children of God. We are adopted into his kingdom which is not of this world.

I was born & raised in Charlotte NC but it wasn't until I was an adult that I realized how loved & respected he was around the world. Its an honor to travel Billy Graham Pkwy everyday & seeing all the people still coming to the Billy Graham Library to pay their respects & tour the museum.

Willie, Billy Graham is not Jesus that’s idol worshiping. He’s just a vessel used by God. He’s the same as you see him in the video, full of passion and fire for the love of the Lord and for the people. He’s a beautiful man.🕊

Watched Billy Gramm for years as a kid he was absolutely inspirational and uplifting 🙏 his words always made you open up , and his talks were always point on , RIP Billy Gramm.

I remember growing up as a child, my mother use to watch this man and so did we.

Billy Graham was a superior example and led 1000's to the Lord. He didn't put himself in questionable situations. He was an honorable Christian in every way. 😇

He was a lot of things BUT HE DIDN’T TELL PEOPLE TO BE BAPTIZED!!! Baptism does now save!!! It’s required of all! Mark 16:15,16! (Matthew 28:16-20) Jesus was even Baptized! Emulate Christ! “Ye must be born again of the water & the holy spirit!” Men & brethren what shall we do… Acts 2:20-47 Be Baptized! And the Lord added to the Church daily! SUCH AS SHOULD BE SAVED! About 3,000 souls were Baptized & saved on the day of Pentecost! Many have been baptized! It’s part of the process to join Christ Church! The SINNERS PRAYER WILL NOT SAVE US/YOU!!! CONFESSION ALONE DOES NOT SAVE! 5 steps are required! Hear , believe, repent, confess, & be baptized for remission of sins! Then Jesus will add you (acts 2::47) to the church!!! Not some man! “It’s the only way! No man cometh to the Heavenly Father but by me/Jesus!

My mom always had me listening to Billy Graham with her she loved him and now I see just how faithful he was compared to preachers in this time he wasn’t scared or cared about preaching the truth 🔥

He made us how He made us. He put us where He put us. He gave us what He gave us. It's OUR job to do what He asks us...no matter what our circumstance is. And praise God for it.❤ John 3:16 - be a whosowver!
