Yes, I miss looking forward to award shows like the old days.. I get enough political s*** from the media okay. And of course leaning more to one side.

This was the first Oscars I ever watched and Billy Crystal knocked it out of the park. My favorite Oscar host.

@@JAPelicano1 I remember as a kid re watching the recording on tape. I taped this and the year before where he hosted with Titanic winning. I reacted all his jokes and monologues lol. Every time Billy Cyrstal hosted the oscars my mom taped it knowing he was something special and it will be entertaining. I miss him as host. Oscars have gone down hill.

Amazing, Billy Crystal is a legend. Hosting is no easy, he has to memorise all the jokes and the all the songs for one night of 3 hours.

"people,kid who SEE DEAD PEOPLE"...so hilarious, meanwhile "I see dead people..." in one of the greatest movie quotes in AFI, ranked #44 (around that rank maybe) and the part "you see things that aren't there, LIKE BRUCE WILLIS WITH HAIR,YOU'RE IN THE SIXTH SENSE...."the melody combined with that line,really cracking me, real best host, BILLY CRYSTAL.

Of course Billy Crystal is SUCH A TALANTED FELLOW. But all I felt after this vid. was HOW MUCH I MISS KEVIN SPACEY (wrong spelling?) Never a dull performance. Always so APPEALING. Wasn’t he simply the best of them all. A lovely man and so clever to do that on the Oscars. The Oscars have lost their shine for me in so many ways and when I look round and see that there are so many that have gone now makes me very sad. Kevin Spacey he has had such a terrible few years. Delving into his private life and these liars who have come out and said nasty things. Go get a life. Anyway here’s to Hollywood. There will never be another Billy, thanks for the memories. ❤
