Stephen rewrote the lyrics to tell the story about the night his mother died. Also there is an AI version with Billy singing Stephens version on KZread.

Both versions are beautiful. This has that acoustic vibe.

I don't get it, he writes something beautiful like this for *another* band and then writes Widow Wake My Mind for SP? Widow Wake My Mind isn't bad, but I think that Lost in the Woods is way prettier. But anyway, why does he do that?

this song is called "lost in the woods". its a song that billy wrote for taproot. this was the first time he played it for them, and its a member of taproot recording this. i think they butchered this song with their version, but i'm a little bias.

Why doesn’t Billy Corgan ever put these songs on his albums??? And when he does why does he have to over-produce then and clutter them up with tons of extra parts?

lol did he forget all the words? Those definitely aren't the words to the song and it sounds like he's making it up as he goes. I mean it's possible he rewrote the song.
