I think it’s “Don’t wanna cause a ruckus, but B A Baracus, have I got a match for you!” That sounds like what he’s singing and it makes more sense. But otherwise nice one!

This was on TV in Ireland in the late eighties and it was very much enjoyed - my mother in law is a real life supergran in her late 70s - she's still able to skip at least 60 skips a minute with a skpping rope - and she walks a half mile to a mile every other day for the food groceries, grandad at home with the car, just to stay fit. Ps: Thanks Craig for the Lyrics and Fraser for the video; I'm showing my kids the song written mostly about their Granny!

I find it funny that Ice Man gets referred to as a 'fairy' in the song, and years later he comes out as gay in the comics. Think Billy knew something

Pamela Stephenson is now Super Gran because she is older than this lady and is very busy with her work still

Pamela Stephenson - Billy’s wife - is in her early 70’s. Gudrun Ure - Super Gran - is still alive and turned 96 in June 2022.

She's got more bottle than United Dairies. United Dairies was once the UK's larges Milk bottling company back when most people still had milk delivered to the door step each morning in glass bottles. The empty bottles would be collect, cleaned and re-bottled.

Iceman was one of Spider-Man’s friends in the 1980’s cartoon SPIDER-MAN AND HIS AMAZING FRIENDS, (along with Firestar). It aired in the early-to-mid 1980’s on the BBC, whereas SUOER GRAN was on ITV in the mid-1980’s on Sunday teatime.

Sir billy can do nothing wrong

Series 1 of Supergran had some funny moments and was much better and funnier than series 2, which was too daft and cartoonish. The tv version had Scunner Campbell saying "is there nothing that she cannae do"

Billy may not have been so cheeky as to use the "F" word in the first verse... but he did blutter out the most creative of lines toward the end of the second.... "After her, they're all big girls' blouses, She's got more front than a row of houses..." Mighty ... great poetry there! I suppose he was referring to the front lawns....😉
