Taylor Swift achieved her billionaire status because of her talent, work ethic, and support from her fans. But some question whether any individual should be able to accumulate so much wealth. Those arguing they should point to philosopher Robert Nozick, who says if someone acquires wealth through just means, they are entitled to it. Those arguing “no” say that luck and systemic advantages often play a role, sometimes involving exploitation, and that billionaires have an outsized influence on policy. Many billionaires don't consume that much of their wealth. Some don't even have that much income. Given that we're going to have all this much "stuff" or valuation in the world regardless of whom has it, the only question is how to manage and grow it. You can opt for some kind of parliamentary system or a more distributed, autonomous system. You will always need political reconciliation, but empirically a 1:100 or 1:20 ratio that biases toward the latter tends to grow its wealth and a ratio that reaches 1:5 or worse tends to starve and kill each other. Lay down wise rules, be consistent in enforcing them, and let people be free. Modern consciousness has so much it can discover and give if you let it be free.
