I knew a girl like that girl in the chair. She too was beautiful and a doctor. Going through her city last month I was thinking of her. She’s gone now. She was delightful and so enjoyable. I loved her. She loved me. But it was not to be. She would say all I want is an ordinary life ! Funny but we also met in Lourdes. A special place with a lot of Italians. I was once behind her going down the Bernadette S. Road going into the sanctuary. She was with her two sisters laughing. I remember the shopkeepers and other people turning their heads to stare. She was beautiful.

So the lesson here is that you can be a dishonest sleazebag all of your life, but once your lies get you something you really want, and you begrudgingly have to tell the truth, you'll still get what you want in the end. Got it.

Yeah the movie doesn't have a very good lesson, but the movie was never directed to have one. Its a romance specifically aimed at the female psychology of taming a wild beast. Women have this spiritually romantic primitive desire to tame something that cannot be tamed. This movie and the million others like it all have the same female fantasy. Recognize it once and you'll recognize every time after.

Not if you found out he was a rare guy and only 0.08% of worlds population make his kind of money. He had to test you because men like that dont gamble with their lives unless they know they can win, if he showed his true self women will put on an act, and since these kind of men have a hard time getting authentic connections from people because of who he is. basically if he knew what a real connection with a woman was, he wouldnt need to be testing women because he would have already been with her.
