I am godsmacked. I have been playing guitar since I was 13 years old and I'm 57. And I just discovered Alexandr Mismo! And I also discovered after 43 years as a guitarist that I don't know jack s***! For all of my skill I am not even a pimple on this guy's ass. I am so impressed and I don't have words sufficient to describe how gifted this guy is I have a new guitar hero and his name isn't Jimi Hendrix and it isn't Eric Clapton and it isn't Prince! This guy on a whole another level Steve Vai and Joe satriani can't even touch this guy!

lordSeaworth what's impressive is how he is playing almost every single note in the Billie Jean song, which include multiple instruments playing simultaneous, but this person is doing it all on one single classical guitar, and pulls it off seamlessly with a very unique technique. His technique and how he applies it to recreate the song almost perfectly is what's creative and extremely impressive imo.

The song is stripped down to it's basics and yet incredibly complicated at the same time! Everything is there! Nothing missing that matters, nothing extra. ABSOLUTE GENIUS!

Everything about the style and technique is unorthodox but the results are spellbinding and exquisite. Its a mixture of rhythm, flamenco, percussion and melodic ingenuity. Very impressive

This is simply BRILLIANT! I've been working up my own rendition of this song on my guitar, over the last several days. Just decided to search KZread, to see if anyone else is doing Billie Jean on acoustic guitar. After hearing this, I've scrapped what I was doing. I've SUBSCRIBED to this channel!

What blows my mind is how greats like Dawes, Gomm, etc. can work years to develop a certain skill set. Then teenagers come along and some how are able to use that as their starting point...It's like they instantly understand it....so many techniques all within a single piece....Amazing guitar work sir.

I learned drifting by Andy McKee, a while back took me every bit of all the hours that are in a week, and Still not perfect. My fingertips we're so sore from the tapping part I actually had to stop for a day because I literally couldn't tap the note hard enough to make it sound anymore lol. But I got it finally and boy is it fun to play. Plus a huge sense of accomplish ment , also a big confidence booster.
