​@@deecyp64 They are both actually very good at what they do. They are just different. Different upbringings, Different countries. Different weather. Different languages. Different culture. It is not possible to compare one to the other because the basis for comparison is not existing. I don't listen much to Billie but I have heard some of her songs and they are amazing. I'm not a gifted musician, but I have been playing consistently for many years and Billie is doing cool creative stuff, but it is Aurora who moves me, to whom I listen to EVERY day, it is Aurora who I admire, as a woman and as musician. I'm certain in a few years Aurora will be greatly known for her arts and music, she has been working and touring relentlessly. She is so strong and delicate, delightfully balanced. I think it is a very beautiful thing that Billie, who is a really good musician on her own, has been inspired by the lovely Aurora. Everybody wins.

To the point Aurora does a lot of the same choreography, wears the same dresses, names songs the same title lol. and Lorde was seeing her obsessively for Melodrama inspiration. Hence why Yellow Flicker Beat's video is so Florence in Sweet Nothing. Green Light is heavily Florence inspired.

I study in Bergen at the moment, the city in Norway where Aurora is from, and it’s strange because there are so many Bergen natives here at my uni who are all like “yeah we know Aurora well, she used to be that weird girl who would clean up after people and take care of everyone at parties.” And one person was like “we sung together in a school concert once, it’s no big deal.” One day I actually spotted her outside the Grieg Hall, and I was so excited I got a picture with her and everything. When I told my new friends about it here they kinda laughed and were like “well yeah, she’s big, but she’s not like a huge celebrity here in Bergen. She’s pretty normal actually.” It just feels like a huge disconnect, seeing as big stars like Billie Eilish admire her so much. And she’s so big in other countries like the US. Idk what my point here was, I just felt like sharing. But hey, thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Jakob Gausvik-Tvedt The centre of Bergen as a city is very small, but the whole city stretches out over longer distances in about a 10 kilometre radius, more or less. There are different areas like Arna, Åsane and Fana that like to say they’re not 100% part of Bergen as a city, but it doesn’t make sense to exclude these areas because they share basically the same dialect, traditions and culture. At least everything stretching from around the city centre all the way south to the Bergen airport at Flesland is indeed Bergen.

Her music is playing in shops quite a bit (from my experience) and she has done songs for so many ads & films that there’s probably not many people who haven’t heard something of hers. Yet hardly any of them would know her name. It’s a pity.

I just listened to Aurora the first time in my life and thought: "She sounds like if Lorde and Billie Eilish had a baby", but after watching this video, it seems like Lorde and Aurora are actually Billie's parents...

Im in no way a fan of this girl, im guessing that youtube recommended it because of aurora. Runaway is my favorite Aurora song. It came to my life exactly when i needed it and i remember playing it on my headset on loop for hours and hours. Aurora doesn't get the recognition she deserves. She is our little elf.

First song I listened to of Aurora was black water Lillie's. My friend sent me a link and I listened to it in the car on the way home from somewhere. From then I started listening to more and more of her music and now every single song is a gem and I absolutely fell in love with her unique approach to music. One of my favorites is giving in the love. That song gives me a sort of happiness that I can't explain

aurora literally made me feel and think things i didn’t know i could feel. i found her when i was like 11, i’m now 16 and forever grateful for her presence. she is so powerful

I'm 63 and I have never been so moved by an artist,aurora is a breath of fresh air who is shy and so humble,I honestly don't think she realises sometimes the impact she has,it's wonderful to listen and watch her perform an outstanding young lady who's whole body turns into her instrument,she is in a different class.from any mainstream artist out there.

Aurora is AMAZING. I have loved her for YEARS and got the chance to see her 4/20/18 in Las vegas and she was life changing
