Billie Eilish (Live) at Leeds Festival 2019. (25 Aug 2019)
My youngest daughter had been so looking forward to seeing Billie at the Leeds Festival as she is a huge fan.
She really wanted to watch her in the front but there were just too many people there already. And she soon got surrounded by tall people (she's only little) so it was rather difficult for her to see Billie, even on the screen.
Then her mobile battery died, even before the concert started. Disaster, one after another!! You can imagine she almost burst into tears!
Her big sister gave her a piggy back and my husband put her on his shoulders for a while, but not too long. Too heavy and too hot!
So I promised her that I would film the full performance for her so she would not miss any!! Panic over! :)
It was such a brilliant performance and the crowd was amazing too, even though it was scorching hot. Bille's voice was so beautiful.
Most of all, it was so nice to see my daughter enjoying the concert. She had a great big smile on her face afterwards. :)

막내 딸이 빌리 아일리시 팬이라서 이번 리즈 페스티벌에서 빌리의 공연을 보려고 정말 기대를 많이 했어요.
그래서 무대 앞 쪽에서 보고 싶어 했는데, 사람들이 이미 너무 많아서 비집고 들어갈 틈이 없더라구요. 결국 약간 옆쪽으로 옮겼는데, 순식간에 키가 큰 사람들에게 둘러싸여서 딸아이는 무대의 빌리 얼굴은 커녕 스크린도 잘 안보이게 된 상황... 더구나 공연 시작 직전에 딸의 휴대폰 배터리까지 갑자기 방전 되고... 진짜 우리 딸은 울음 터지기 직전 상황이었죠.
큰 딸이 업어서 더 잘 보게도 해주려고 했고, 아빠도 어깨에 잠시 태워줬지만 그것도 잠시... 무거운 것보다 너무나 더웠던 날씨 때문에 결국 내려놓을 수 밖에 없었어요.
그래서 결국 제가 딸에게 엄마가 전부 녹화할테니 혹시라도 놓친 것 있으면 나중에 집에 가서 확인해보라고 하고 가까스로 사태가 진정 됨. ㅋ
33도의 기온에 햇빛이 너무 강했는데도 공연도 좋았고, 관중들의 열기와 호응도 좋았어요. 무엇보다도 딸이 좋아하는 모습 보는 것이 전 가장 좋았어요. 공연 끝나고 나오는 내내 딸의 환한 미소를 보니 행복했어요.
