THESE TWO ARE LEGENDARY! What was I made for is such a beautifully written song. That song has gotten me through A LOT. the portrayal she enlisted in that song is so real and empowering. The juxtaposition of floating and then falling down, and the mental health of not knowing how to feel & sadness is so human of her. I feel it’s the best song written of her discography. That won't happen, if ever, until Gen Z (which she pretty much owns) are a good deal older. Someday she will summon powerful nostalgia vibes for her peers the way Abba does for Gen X. Who knows.

In my view, both songs perfectly complemented the movie: Dua Lipa's track captures the lively and fun moments, while Billie's resonates with the more sentimental aspects. Choosing between the two is challenging because they are both distinctively different yet equally incredible in their own ways, of course! So, I wouldn't mind if either won, to be honest. LOL. But I think Billie did win because her song adds an extra layer of emotion with its mind-opening lyrics and her captivating voice. Maybe people this year were just looking for a little more than a pop song? Hahaha, not sure. I personally love both, and think they are both very well deserving. And I know this is just my opinion (just thought I would share it, LOL), and you have your own opinions too-nothing wrong with that! my reply to before was just a reminder to be kind, I suppose. 😂

And I totally understand her. She wrote these lyrics when she was 14, 15, 16 or 17. She had depression and suicidal thoughts, and she lost friends because they‘ve died. Getting bullied and told that you are fat everyday is hard for a teenager. Isn’t it kinda understandable that her mind is dark if stuff like that happens? Billie has said in many recent interviews stuff like „If I would meet me then now, I would slap that girl in the face.“ She is aware that she has said some dumb stuff, and she wouldn’t do it again.
