YES! THANK YOU! I AGREE! 2017 was a solid year for the hot 100 and a damn good one for music. #1 hits were never pushed by stan culture and falling out of the top 10 in just 1 week, they were remembered and they had a lasting legacy. In 2020, Trollz got to #1 and NO ONE likes that song. And even so, very few people are gonna remember it anyway. Same with Franchise, Life Goes On, and The Scotts, those weren't popular but they were #1 anyways. Like, it really needs to change.

Harlem Shake, Candle In The Wind (1997), Old Town Road, Hello, In My Feelings and Wrecking Ball registered more points than LWYMMD in a single week. So that makes LWYMMD the lowest 1000 point song that has charted. But it is still a very huge feat ngl. Taylor's awesome

You know, even if I'm not a fan of either song at all, I will say this: HOW THE HECK DID SAY YOU WON'T LET GO AND ISSUES NOT MAKE THE TOP 10?!?!? They were literally everywhere back in 2017 and I could've sworn they were both top 10 hits that year, but I guess not. Oh, and I also am a little disappointed and shocked that Redbone didn't make the Top 10 because unlike the previous 2, I actually adore that one a lot.

@@TheBlackPanther05 2017 was such a weird year. Like 2022, the top 10 became very stagnant at times. But UNlike 2022, that wasn't a huge problem that made the music scene itself feel exhausting. I definitely agree on Redbone, that song should've made the top 10 and I'm disappointed that it didn't. And then I don't actually mind Issues at all, and SYWLG is just unlistenable for me.
