Bless, he even got nervous saying that out loud. So much admiration for the man. Though I think the reason he's such a good song writer and musician is because he was that "odd child"... Mike Oldfield comes to mind, I'm sure their a plenty more examples.

A "ginger" is usually a term for a white person with red hair. A "ginger snap" is a sweet ginger cookie. Basically, Bill WIthers is saying that Ed Sheeran became more of a special person when he started his music career.

I dont stutter..well sometimes i try and say a simple word that iv said loads of time before but i say it completely wrong the first 2 or 3 times before getting it right. Like once every month...I can tell its something psychological etc. Maybe just due to me not speaking a lot when i was young.
