Hope I’m not defined by everything my ex wife said about me in court… Bill is a legend, but he’s also human. I pray he and family heal and move forward in a positive way.

Did anybody bother to read the announcements at the end of the article. It clearly states the story is based on some facts, some rumors and hearsay. This is a hit piece.

Everyone always says to believe the women. I'm not saying she is lying, but domestic issues are always very complicated.

You can literally look at how he's fermented. That the marriage has taken its toll.

So, let me see if I get this right. A person that provides new analysis has a private life that includes unfortunate miseries not unlike a lot of people and you thought it was important to air his personal crap in a public forum. This more a commentary on the producer of this tawdry video than anything Mr. O'Reilly or his wife had to work through. Shameful.

He had a career on a show called Current Afair. Before the O'Riley Factor.

That is her right, and that is her money too. He was absent father. She literally raised their children alone!. Plus he didn't care for his own children. Men who are not qualified to be husband and father should not marry, and bring children to these world just because they have money. You probably suffer from the same syndrome. Not all men and women are family material. All those who lack decency love Bill O’Reilly type.

This seems horribly one sided. I respect Bill O'Reilly in many ways after 40 years of relating to him. Perfect? No but none of us are . I respect him as a professional, as a journalist, a pundit (of which I don't always agree but always refer), for his integrity, and his courage. This piece is a hit job, directed to hurt his reputation which compels me to defend him. We don't know what went on behind closed doors and by the "facts" revealed here it appears both parties were embarrassing themselves.THIS IS A PRIVATE MATTER and should have stayed private. . Just remember that while he was providing a royal lifestyle for his wife and children in Manhasset, NY she ALSO found time to cheat on him with a police officer in their hometown, then drag their innocent children into the battle and then privately and publicly embarrass him (she had not one thing to lose but she KNEW she could destroy him). Women can be so evil - look at the studies it is mostly women that destroy their family by filing for divorce, harming the children with their anger. Don't trust me look it up. Thank you, Bill, for defying the "me too" culture and carrying on for the American people. You are respected, trusted and admired.

Excellent reply, thank you for standing up for Bill. I agree to you 100%! After working in corporate for all my career, you meet all kinds of people, many of those who want to take people down and destroy them. While he isn’t perfect, he is an excellent reporter, fair and tries to be impartial. We still listen to him. I would trust his reporting over any of the reporters in main stream media for sure! I don’t believe most of the reports and it always takes two! Divorce is always bitter, especially with manipulative women and difficult circumstances. That has been my experience. I also think some of the accusations were used to get money out of him, and perhaps he may have gotten too popular and some folks wanted to bring him down. All that personal stuff is really his business and doesn’t really have to do with his work. Doesn’t change my mind in his ability to be a great reporter.

Once again, a prominent, respected individuals Personal issues, get dragged into the ith ethe public arena, with the worst parts being selectively embellished, for All to hear. She did not have to be told by any priest as two Catholics they both know that divorce is wrong and that any new marriage is invalid. He did not cut her off , she did herself with new invalid marriage and he cut himself off by requesting annulment knowing full well annulment was not valid in God’s law. Both a disgrace to Catholicism acting like total Protestants. Shame on both.

Its sounds to me that there was ALOT of "Hurt" going on for quite sometime for the entire family. But along with all that "hurt" comes self protection/justification within each family member. Rejection in any form is hard to swallow. Im sure there was spousal abuse on both sides ...who did what to who or when one will NEVER know except them ...Nor is it really ANYONE elses business that isnt affected within that family . Vengence gets ugly , life is too short . Its so hard to rise above hurt from a rejection or illusions of what each individual visioned for that Vow of Forever. One would like to think that eventually each person would remember the "LOVE" that they began the relationship with & rise above all the PETTY STABBING. But that takes ALONG TIME if it happens at all. Its so very hard to admit to yourself "The Truth" within your own behaviors & how to be a "Decent Humane Person"...not factoring in what religion....just to a GOOD PERSON for Your own STORY AT THE END .

O'Reilly admittedly has a wicked Irish temper so I tend to believe the claims, although they are likely exaggerated as is typical. As to his narcissism I remember my 90 year old mother and I watching his show around 2005, she said "he's really full of himself, isn't he ?"

Interesting to me that during the video they show a picture of ocean surf while the audio is saying that he lived on the north shore of L.I. The ocean is on the South shore of L.I. . North shore is L.I. Sound. Is this an indication of the accuracy of the story? I also have very serious doubts about the accusations about the the Catholic and clergy getting involved in their troubles. I do think O'Reilly would be a difficult person to get along with.

It proved God does make resilent people. So always be careful of what and who you believe. Because the devil maybe in the midst of it all trying to destroy more lives.
