I’d argue the opposite-that people realized when he was in office that he wasn’t anything like the media told everyone he would be, and as a result, people who voted against him in 2016 realized they bought into the false media narrative. It wasn’t so bad after all. That actually makes more sense. It explains how he went from 62 million to 74 million votes. Unlike Obama who was more unpopular, going from 69 million to 65 million. That’s because in 2008, there was all this ridiculous hope that Obama would be transcendent. Then millions became disappointed and as a result, he lost 4 million votes. I am British, we have just had local council and mayoral elections. All the candidates have accepted the results of the free and fair vote. We haven't had a stupid whining baby threatening violence because the result didn't go their way. Do you remember the days when your elections were like that yanks?

You are right but please don't call them "yanks". Luke does a very good job. He really tries to do his best every day. He does it for the whole world not only for his country. I think it is very difficult for younger people to live in the USA. They have to face and to manage a lot of problems young people in Switzerland, Austria or Germany even can't imagine. We in Europe should support them with our thoughts, or words and our compassion. Luke risks a lot in informing the whole world day by day. He lives in a country where evey crazy person could own weappons legaly. It's another and really difficult situation.

If Trump thinks that a US President has absolute immunity, then being that Biden is currently the president, he could easily just get rid of trump and deny a peaceful transfer of power should Trump win and all will be forgiven. Do I have that correct or is there something wrong with that?

Sure, early votes can be counted early, but counting mail in ballots received on election day can take days. Why should voters be disenfranchised because Trump is an impatient 6 year old?! He and his loyalists are sickening.

This desire to eliminate early voting is crazy. I have several serious (but survivable) medical conditions that are going to result in at least two surgeries this year, one out of town where there’s a doctor who can handle it. I need the option of early and/ or mail-in voting because i don’t know where or how i will be on Election Day.

If you are asked about political violence and you say anything other than it's absolutely wrong, then you have no place in a democracy. If you first ask who committed it then that's the wrong question - democracy depends on free and fair actions - not on intimidation. Trump has had a million opportunities to tell his supporters that he abhors violence and will have nothing to do with it. Instead, we have the 'punch him in the face' comments from him. Whoever supports such ideas is wrong, and should never have your vote.

Luke has flourished as a host. Great points, perfect tone, engaging speech patterns, great stuff!
