I have just watched your interview with Bill Maher & believe that he is where most Democrats & Republicans really are today. I am a conservative but not a Trumpster. I really believe that Bill is right & we need someone in the "Middle" to stand up for the middle.

Brilliant discourse between 2 brilliant minds who diverge politically, but know how to hold space for differences of opinion wthin an elucidating conversation that makes sense, no matter which side of the political divide. Bravo. Encore.

This whole thing with "gender Identity" has gotten out of hand. It seems to be a point of honor or pride to stand up and say you're 'different' and go to extreme lengths to show it off and expect the entitlement. If you don't feel comfortable in the body you were born with; a guy who wants to be a girl, or a girl who wants to be a guy, whatever. You can make all the cosmetic or surgical changes you want to prove your point, but never, ever forget that you either have XX or XY and there's NOTHING you can do to change it, so live with it and don't expect special treatment because you didn't get the one you wanted, and deal with being limited for the rest of your natural (?) life not being able to fully cross over and pee in the opposite sex bathrooms, play sports for the "other" team or get a job based on what you feel you really are rather than what you are capable of doing. To convince young children who are not capable of the judgment to decide what they really are yet is truly abominable, and should not be the purview of anyone outside the family. It's nobody else's business.

Bill Maher isn’t wrong on the trans issue. Bill is one of the old school liberals of which I was one. The problem with the right, at least on the fringes, is that they are not willing to dialogue and persuade people like Bill. The key, in my opinion, is not to hit a home run on the first pitch. You win by dialoguing over and over again and engaging reasonable folks and convincing them of the reasonableness of your argument. Do not not aim your dialogue at the folks that are unreasonable. Such actions are a waste of time. Think of it as o e who is trying to g to cut a tree down. You don’t take a giant swing and then give up when the tree doesn’t come down. You keep coming back and engaging. It doesn’t make for good ratings on cable news, yet it does win the game over time.

I always say I'm a true blue democrat. I admire some progressive policies, specifically regarding universal healthcare and wealth redistribution, but I also reject the severe wokeism that has infected younger, leftist circles. Even If I disagree with Bill, I RESPECT him and whatever opinion he is espousing, because I know he thoroughly thinks out his opinions--something most people (Megan Kelly included) don't always do. I always find it extremely alarming when a comment section is filled with people throwing character assaults at a person because they disagree with one or two opinions they have (unless, they are abhorrent opinion akin to racism and sexism and homophobia). You may disagree with Bill sometimes, but you can't undermine his intelligence.

Great interview!! Bill Maher is difficult to listen to, but you challenged him to support his positions and on many points....he couldn't! Checkmate! We need to have more engaging conversations like this with our fellow Americans who have different political philosophies; engaging in the arena of ideas and being able to challenge one another to think critically...and still remain friends. Unfortunately, I'm afraid we're far beyond that in this time in history. I hope and pray we can come back around to common decency and mutual respect regardless of our opinions and truly stand as citizens of the United States of America.

Just watched the complete interview... As intelligent as Bill is, I was amazed by how much stuff he doesn't know. Like cops being killed on J6, thinking Hunter's laptop had nothing more than d**k pics, Hillary denying the election results, etc... My respect has grown greatly for him over the last year or so, but he lost a few points with me on this one. Megyn was very fair and graceful in their disagreements, and Bill regularly and disrespectfully dismissed her with snarky chuckles. Anyway...

He is far left for a reason, He likes what it has to offer, and what it has to offer is darker than what any of us really know! 👠👠. It’s what Trump is trying to clean up! These people hate Trump because he knows what they do is so depraved ! They once kissed Trumps 🫏 , then he came down the escalator, revealing the truth about those who are in a popular position or an elected politician, EPSTEIN GATHERED THE BLACKMAIL EVIDENCE , so they would be obedient to those who have the real Power and Control. $0r0$. Yeah that the heck was that absurd comment about?! I'm glad he's waking up to the gender nonsense that's been happening & happy to see him speaking about it. But when he does it alongside such a stupid comment he loses me.

Majority rule is democracy, which is vehemently anti constitutional republic. I argue the right wants their own version of democracy and skewed "God given rights" and are really not much different than leftist statists...

Well if you support Trump you don’t.

Two things grab my attention here: 1) Why is it when I watch interviews on KZread, I see two normal people just having a discussion, no drama, but when I hear the TV in the background, all I hear is purposeful misunderstandings, manufactured outrage, and focusing on what appears to be bad. 2) It was refreshing to hear someone on the left point out the insanity of the "men can have babies" propaganda that has come out. I am quite appalled to admit that working in the classical music industry on the East Coast, I do not feel that I would have a career if I mentioned my opinion on the matter. And I think that this why a lot of centrist or former left voters are considering voting Trump: to have the hope that we could live in a world where we are not constantly punished for running afoul of a 'public opinion' which is really the wishful desire of a very vocal minority. Very interesting times we are living in. 😁

I love Megyn. She’s so good looking and super smart. I wish I was that directors chair she’s sitting on.

I have tried multiple times to communicate with my Democrat "representatives", and they REFUSE to engage with their voters on the subject of trans ideology. I am FED UP with being ignored by people who expect me to vote for them out of tribal loyalty.
