Pull the plug on NPR. Thay can't survive without government funding and that being the case whatever they're selling isn't being bought by those who do the buying. Any commercial radio station with a flawed format dies pretty quickly and the same should apply to NPR. Either that or they confine the broadcasts to the arts and stay out of politics completely if they want continued funding.

I agree. I worked in Midtown and was on the E Train under the East River when it happened. I eventually got home that night about 10 pm by walking over the 59th St Bridge. Many first responders worked in Manhattan, but lived in Queens because it was too expensive to live in Manhattan. I knew several of them and knew even more that died that day at Ground Zero. Saw a dude dressed as Moses at a free palestine protest asking the basic question if the hostages should be returned. When they answered no, he gave them one of the 12 plagues in the form of a funny prop 😂 But this is where we are. At these rallies for cease fires, there are plenty of people there that cannot even say that Hamas should return their kidnapped hostages. Just basic humanity.

Just imagine if they were Trump supporters. Not that we behave like this, no matter how many times they scream about “January 6th”

I was a consistent NPR listener until they did an infomercial for a local hospital, without mentioning its name, where I received cancer treatment. They were bragging about all the support services they offered. I was begging for those very same services during my treatment, I got excuses. Finally my radiologist told me to put it in the customer satisfaction survey I would receive at the end of my treatment. It was Backus Hospital in Norwich CT.

OK, first off, they're not "protesting" for a cease-fire... they're breaking the law. Not by protesting, but by _HOW_ and _WHERE._ Second, there already _WAS_ a ceasefire, but it ended because Hamas/Palestine started shooting again.

I think a lot of big channels are using reaction type videos to put a barrier between their channel and the 2/5 YT TOS update. YT went after Tim Pool of all people deleting videos from years ago. Tim spoke about it in depth saying the new TOS is putting creators in a position to lose their channels even if they've followed the rules in the past. He is making some announcements in the near future about his plans, we'll see. I think it is only going to get worse. YT threatened me with a strike for sharing a YT video on YT. They deleted the video shared on my page, but not the original. I fought and won because it wasn't my video, and the original video was still up. This has happened to me 3 times this year already. My point being, I think creators who are fearful are laying low and letting other people say what they want to say and then just react to it. 1984 more and more every day.

99% of Dave Rubin's content has become either "Bill Maher shuts down guest" or "Guest shuts down Bill Maher." His *OBSESSION* with Bill Maher has become tiresome.

Outside of it probably gets clicks - Dave often frames it as if he thinks Maher is a barometer of sane, old-school liberals. The idea being that if Maher is waking up to a certain insanity, surely most mainstream Democrats will too. But, it seems to be the case that Bill Maher has no influence at all in the discourse. I’ve yet to see any evidence of pushback against any progressive stuff Maher has pushed back on.
