I played this at my son’s funeral. It turned into such a hopeful, spiritual event that eight people were saved. God always has a purpose.

23 years ago today my 5 week old daughter died of meningitis and my heart still aches but I am comforted by the knowledge that through my lord and savior Jesus Christ, I will will see her again! Praise god. This song is a blessing.

I lost my Mom on Mother's day, 2024. I was on my way back home to be with her and she went wirh Jesus a few hours before I got back. To her. I did spend time with Mom the day before. I miss her. She was 97 and had a good life. I know one day I will see her again.

Im so sorry about your mom. Mine died a week later at 74. I was holding her hand and swabbing her lips with a moist sponge when she stopped breathing.

My husband of 40 years, passed away July 15. 2023. This beautiful song was one of the ones we played at his funeral. It is so touching.

Wow Wow, I listen to the song at least once per week ever since I listen to it. I had so sad to see her pop weeping so much. But I truly hope that he is resting in Jesus. And Tanya and all who listened to her sing. See her tears and their own that by God's grace, we will all make it to that beautiful place Jesus is pairing for us. Tanya I don't know if you are still here with us, but if you are, thank you. You really did Justice to those words your pop penned. I don't know him. he just see him sitting there see as one who would be so easy to love. I just can't wait to see my Dad up there in heaven!!! One of his favorite bible verse, the one he told me to read on his funeral 9 months before he went to be with the Lord was Psalm 27:4. I know he's in heaven gazing upon the Lord's beauty and I find myself most days singing this song and waiting upon that great home coming....I miss you dad!!

I would love to listen to my dad. We didn't know each other well but I believe that despite the fact that he wasn't there for me because of the challenges and illness he faced in life, he must have been an awesome person. I wanna hear all about it and share my story with him. ❤🙏 and tell him although I was angry for a long time, as an adult when I went through a depression I finally got a but of an idea how hard it must have been for him and I love him.

That song really touched my heart. I was sitting outside of my bed in the middle of the night I was praying Asking god just show me some how that my brother made home I then this song come on think God he answered my prayer. I believe my brother made it.

This song is so timeless for me because of the sincere reactions of these three gentlemen who are zoomed by the camera. I think I feel what that songs means to them. Their reactions almost drive me to tears every damn time.

If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take. Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh. O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. My paw-paw passed away in 2020 at the age of 77 from a massive heart attack and the first time i heard this song was at his funeral. Every time i hear this song i think about him and for me i can't wait to get up there through those gates and look for him . Not a second of any day goes by that he's not on my mind . I hope he knows how much is missed and how much he is still loved .
