This song needs to be listened too! Freedom doesn’t come from our govt or even our constitution it comes from Calvary and the sacrifice Jesus made that makes us free!

That seems to be most peoples favorite. It wasn’t just the voices that made that particular lineup so iconic. It was because it was 4 very interesting and distinctive characters. You had Bill, (the Boss and fearless leader) Mark, (the funny guy) Guy, (the country boy) and David (the showy tenor singer). The current lineup is ok Vocally but they’re not very interesting characters.

I've watched this at least 7 times. Wes only holds his own on "He's Alive". Wes is a wonderful talent. My point is... No one is Phelpsy! The strength in his voice is once in a lifetime. Thank you, Wes ... But Phelpsy is a prodigy. I'll listen to this repeatedly... It's an amazing comparison. Wes, and anyone else, will come up short.
Anytime my heart needs an adjustment I come to this song by these men. For me this will always be the GVB

Ugh, a Snoop Lion commercial before a song like this, at least it cleansed my musical palette before this came on.....I wonder what ole snoop could do if he changed and magnified our Lord. How many would be prompted to change their lives. Thug life dies out and we all get our country united again.
God gives us freedom, not our wicked government.
Remember that this is a real Gospel song....
Awesome song, and awesome combination of singers! Such wonderful and perfect harmony, as well as powerful voices! It is very clear they all are very much into the song and are singing from their hearts and soul for sure!
