Rewatching this years later. Its pretty clear Theo was flustered and nervous, which added to the difference in generations and attitudes. Theos the kind of guy to tell his friends he loves them Bills the type to roast his friend for being sad.

The amount he has changed in just two years is astounding, and I think he'd be a much better guest for Theo, especially after seeing him on all these other podcasts post 2020. I noticed that, too. He REALLY didn't wanna get shot down for that. That was the only part of the podcast where I felt the discomfort. I just saw Bill cracking jokes like he always does. But when he asked if he believed in heaven and Theo was just serious and continued his train of thought, I was like "Bill, don't you dare...". I'm glad he didn't roast him for his beliefs. Dangerz Own Bill is technically the best. But Theo ; when allowed to shine , is the most unique and original. Bill says shit we all think. Theo articulates things in a way that we didn’t know we were thinking, but in a way that seems more viscerally true and odd.

I respect both of these men and their comedic styles. Seeing Theo interview someone he holds in such a high regard, was both painfully awkward, hilarious. Theo just feels even more relatable after watching this.

Red Huskies he’s wrong about what? Nowhere in his comment did he say anything that would make your response make sense. All he said is that Bill doesn’t NEED to promote anymore, which is true. Bill is famous enough now that Netflix will push his special to the front, and everyone will watch it.

Not so much for the topics being discussed, but to watch two individuals, in a long conversation, being their own self the whole time, without morphing into each other... even to the slightest bit. Never seen that kind of a contrast last a whole episode. This was amazing!

I think this is just how Bill is, doesn't matter who's interviewing him he's always on edge and ready to be annoyed. You were not under the assumption that I was under the illusion that I am Theo Von in the flesh I believe. By uttering the words 'That's what we do out here' I was ofcourse conveying some sort of companionship or brotherhood to the podcast and it's listeners. I know you know what I actually meant. I agree. And vice versa. They just have different flavors of honesty. Burr is more brutally honesty and Theo more in touch with and honest with his feelings (which has never been something Burr is into and tends to get annoyed by)
