There was no censorship for quite awhile on O&A. Anything that was taboo, they simply made a joke around it. They basically were just comedians hanging out, until Nopie would ruin it, by trying to run segments, even if it interrupts everyone going off, in a now classic moment. I listen to the Nopie and Anthony channel. They cut Opie out of the show, and it’s so much easier to listen to. 😆

Egyptian depictions of themselves during early dynastic periods depict a more Mediterranean look comparable to other Mediterranean people. The fact is that ancient Egypt was a more metropolitan population due to commerce. Having many outside groups living amongst each other. One of these groups was Nubians. Also, Nubian people were depicted differently than Egyptians. Nubians were depicted as darker skin or even black. Evidence of this can be seen at the tomb of Huy. He was a governor of Nubia representing King Tut of Egypt.

Undoubtedly, Early dynastic Egypt took aspects from the previous surrounding people. This included Nubia. But, several studies show not only a more metropolitan mix of people. A follow-up study concerning DNA evidence conducted in 2022 supports this. Some pre dynastic sites in Egypt demonstrate influences of Anatolia and Summer. My belief is that with the uniting of upper and lower Egypt, so to were a collection of indigenous people who varied by what we call race. Along with outside influences from the surrounding region, the Kingdom of Egypt was created. With its ruling class shifting. Thus explaining the self depictions of themselves, in contrast to different surrounding people's including Nubians.

All Americans feel that Africa is a country even though there is an unbelievable amount of diversity. A Nigerian person does not look like a Somalian and both don't look anywhere near Egyptians, Lybians, etc. And they have completely different cultures. (Edit: I shouldn't have written all but a large percentage as this was an argument between two Americans)

Yeah but nationality isn't the same as ethnicity...thats like North America original were primarily Native Americans then comes the European colonization.... French in Canada...the English in the US and Spaniards in Mexico..yeah there's a big melting pot of cultures but the majority of the population arent indigenous to North America ..they're descendants of immigrants

Bro, does anyone know the name of that video where Patrice, Anthony, Bill, and a few others were roasting each other and roasting this one dude who like lost his leg or something like that??? Hopefully someone knows what I’m talking about, all I remember is that it was funny as hell. I saw it a few years ago, but I have not been able to find it ever since then. I think it was an episode of Opie and Anthony but I’m not entirely sure if anyone knows, or I can find it, please let me know!

FYI you can google Egyptian mummies with giant afros. They didn't call each other Egyptians either. Also Sudan has more pyramids then Egypt by about 200. There isn’t any question what color people from the Sudan are… and during that type Kemit (Egypt and Sudan) where the same.

she can say Anything about white people, but Anthony cumia said something about a black woman who assaulted him, so she banned him from the Patrice benefit. we all know who of Ant and Nia was closer to patrice. IK there must be more complexity to the story but its true nonetheless. Oh it hurts to see the reality, the double standards of bill I once used to admire for his unbiased honesty. Still love his comedy tho, but the credibility is gone.
