Noticed Bill kind of skipped over a vital question: what would you do if you did not have to work? Even more, as he said, “work for free,” why did he not elaborate on this? And as I vent down that tunnel in my head I started to get scared. Many of us would lose our identity if we didn’t have to work for money. That is an interesting and scary thing to ask: what would we do if we did not have to work for sustenance.

Sound like BB thinks he would pay 70% tax on everything if he one year made over 10 M $. As I understand it the 70% would only apply to what is made above the first 10, and only if he took it out as a salary for personal use, not for money reinvested in his business.

Welfare is for pussies. All these corporations should ideally move out of America into like Lichtenstein or Iceland. That's what will happen if you push the buttons too much. Then aoc can figure out to make jobs without the billionaires and millionaires to create jobs for the nation. Good luck to that.

I think everybody here is missing the point. Ok let's assume that the congress manages to pass a bill to tax wealthy people. Then a question comes immediately in our minds (or it should): how will the government spend that money?? Well there is my point. The problem isn't about taxing or not taxing the wealthy but how the money is spent. The mismanagement of resources is the problem and Bill here has a point. Stop making wars around the world and try to spend that money in the nation more wisely.

Here’s how it is... right now someone who make $10 per hr. Is rushing to get to work on time, and gets a 200 dollar speeding ticket 🎫... this fucks up many months of scraping and saving. While a douche bag millionaire is speeding to make his girl cream, and gets the same 200 dollar ticket. No biggie... doesn’t make him think twice about the consequences. That’s how UNFAIR capitalism is.

My point: people need to be 'dinged' proportionally... you make waaaaay more? Then you should get MUCH higher tickets. Otherwise it is no punishment at all!! If you’re a millionaire, congrats... but you don’t get to now just hover above the whole infrastructure!! The system still needs accountability.

Tax people too high= they spend all their time figuring out out to avoid it. There are many ways to get rich. One person makes millions off a great stock pick (Facebook shares tripled) Another works a whole lifetime building his supermarket up and into a chain, hiring thousands. AOc lumps all rich as 'greedy capitalists' Key is equal Opportunity will not always result in equal Outcome Didnt our parents try to encourage us to study , get educated, create business and save, educate the next generation, be successful? Why this AOC resentment against Achievement?

The problem with the 10 million threshold is that they always start with a number like that. Ok so now the 10 million instantly became 3 million take home. But guess what , income tax started out at 2 % back in 1913 now look at it. So now do you think the threshold will stay at 10 mil....hell no it will go down till they are getting everyone at 70 %. Bill is exactly right about the greed of the super rich hiding in corporations, that exactly why corporations were invented. He is also spot on about how modern day politicians become multi millionaires "serving the country" Get woke

@@anonforuz You're completely missing the point STILL. Give the gov't 70% of your pay check and see if they manage to fix ANYTHING. Taxes stacked on top of more taxes and still the govt on all levels perform poorly and squander money and you want to give them more money? Time after time new taxes designed to fund a certain project or common goal end up being diverted to other projects that no one even asked for and in the end nothing gets done. I'm sure you'd be singing a different tune once it's your pay check that money starts coming from though.
