Bilateral therapy is used to treat anxiety, PTSD, restlessness. Use it to enter a state of deep relaxation, drift off into a deep sleep, or meditate. During the video you'll hear a beat that goes between the left and right ear. This is to stimulate the brain and communication between hemispheres.

How did you get those pads? Are those strings or synth strings?

I would have to go back and find the session, and I have many hundreds so that can be a bit difficult, but I use a lot of EastWest strings and choirs combined with various synths and instruments I've gathered over the years. Just from listening to this one, it sounds like I took an 80's e-piano and changed the attack to be very slow or automated the expression, combined it with probably EW strings, flutes, and choir, and then worked in some subtle sounds with heavy reverb here and there. And then of course a lot of the sound comes from how you use EQ. If I run across the session I'll let you know. Thanks for the comment!
