Thanks for this post! I'm not looking for a new bike for my small child but your notes along the way in this review/unboxing are quite helpful. I've already added some green tape to the rear brake lever! As someone just teaching my child to bike with pedals, I'm glad this post lead me to your other family biking content. Still trying to figure out how to bike through New York City without having to spend too much time on the subway/bus, though.

I was really happy to see this and I hope you post more kid bike content! My child is learning on a Woom 1 right now but I'm not too attached to the brand because of the expense.

If you were to buy a bike from Walmart it wouldn't cost you $100 it would be a piece of junk but the kids probably going to outgrow the bike before it gets worn out

Thanks for the comment. These bikes should last 2-4 years depending on the kid size. They also can be passed down or resold for a good price. My kids are often biking 3-5 miles, they wouldn't be able to do it with a bike that weighs more than them.
