Excellent review, thank you. I need a bike for work and this one is looking good. I'll have to assemble it myself, but Biktrix has a good vid for that.

@@sixthisoverdrive I was able to buy one a month or two ago for a good price, overall it's a pretty good bike but with one pretty major flaw, which I'd wished you could have informed us of in your video, but you probably weren't aware of so I'll explain it here. The bike frame for the Swift Lite is far too weak at the single down tube near the crankset (near the pedals). This causes the entire frame to wobble or oscillate badly, after just a tap on one side of the handlebar, or a sharp turn or movement. One must be careful riding this bike to avoid this, otherwise it could lead to loss of control. Had I known this fact I would not have bought this bike. But I've kept the bike, just being very careful to avoid any sudden movement or turns. Honestly I wished you had caught this problem in your video review, but I'm sure it was just overlooked. Thanks

Thanks for a great review! I've been seriously looking at this bike. I currently own a Rad Mini Step Thru bike which I use in upstate NY during the summer and lug it back to Florida in the winter. It weighs over 65 pounds and I have added features like a bike rack and custom seat, so it probably weighs nearly 75 pounds altogether. It is a back-breaking operation to get It on and off a car bike rack. Also, I always worry if something would happen to the battery system while I am on a long ride. It is impossible to peddle as a regular bike, unassisted. The BikTrix Swift Lite looks like a perfect fit for me. I am about your size and just need a touring bike for the flat roads and trails of Florida. I also worrying about some of the beachfront boardwalks banning e-bikes. This bike looks pretty stealth when it comes to riding it in restricted areas. I think it is the bike for me. By the way, do the handlebars swivel back if you want? I'd like to sit more upright than leaning over, since I'm a senior citizen.

Yes, the handle bars have a great range of adjustability. This bike sits you upright, you can barely see the battery, and it feels really good with pas or without. Hope that helps...cheers.

I am not an expert and I have zero experience in ebikes, but from my research I think Biktrix is low balling their range on the Swift Lite. A 36watt motor with a 10.4 AmpHr battery should give battery life similar to every other model in this price range. The 32km range *must* be worse case, i.e. throttle only or on maximum pedal assist.

You could be right…however, I own a stunner x and it’s range is lower than they advertised.
