There are about 40,000 km of cycle paths in the Czech Republic and about 700 km in Prague alone. One of the most beautiful paths leads through the Divoká Šárka valley, which can be easily reached by subway. With the exception of the first platform, bicycles may be transported in the subway directly behind the driver on each of the first and last platforms of the individual wagons of the combination, with a maximum of two bicycles on each platform. Transportation of bicycles in the subway is free.
