What was messed up though is how none of that guys friends helped out. The reason the cops wouldn't show is because the dude he was talking to was too lazy to call them. The guy that owned the bike on the phone seemed to not even care. If you told me you found my bike, I'd quit my freaking job to pick that thing up, and to meet whoever stole it with .45 and tell him to spread his cheeks and lift his sack.

A guy calls the cops, says a guy is stealing his bike and he needs units asap in front of his apartment.... Dispatch says no one's available right now but they'll get units out as soon as they can. Guy calls back and says no need to send any units anymore, he already shot the guy. Cops appear on scene in seconds asking where the gun is and where the guy is that's been shot to which the guy replied oh yeah, he's still out back trying to take my bike, thanks for gettin here so quick.

I have nothing against cops, but this man called in advance, told them he found their stolen bike, chased them down the street and basically confirmed it was his stolen bike and the police respond with "We're not coming". What a force this guy's city has.

3:20 "Ride safe, ride smart". Yeah I'm gonna say that filtering is riding safer and smarter. What the hell is the point of riding a motorcycle and exposing yourself to the additional danger if you're going to treat it the exact same way as a car, while other road users take you for granted? Filtering is a lot safer than being sat in traffic, as there's very little risk of being rear-ended. As an added bonus, you're not taking up the same space as a car would in gridlock, so you actively help by reducing the amount of congestion on the road just by filtering. It should be legal everywhere.

Seems like he wanted to get his friend’s bike back more than the friend even cared himself. Couldn’t get the cops there, doesn’t go immediately when the cops don’t respond to get his own property back cops or not, and doesn’t immediately offer to come pick it up when his friend singlehandedly did get it back while outnumbered and plausibly in danger, luckily not in the end. Good friend, shitty owner.
