Good innit!

There was a private airfield in burbage around 500yds away from where the cafe is. The founder of the flying farmer's lived there and it is where I took my first flight in a light aircraft...a Robin. I was taken up by a RAF test pilot......bloody fantastic

Dear TMF - thanks for cracking Video with Geoff and Dan, i really love when you guys do that lunch biking thingy. Another thing, you should do a meet up with all your followers next sommer, and meet were all can be, and then ride with them all, then a lunch at the end. I know it´s a big thing to ask and i can´t join up because i am leaving in Denmark or maybe i could if i got a date in really really good time so i can be ready for the looong trip. Like Rob, I continued to watch your vids for nearly 3 years while not being able to ride for medical reasons. I've now finally got a bike again. Only one ride in (after a refresher course and a test ride in Newbury), but I'm glad to have the freedom to ride again. I have several cafés on my want to visit list... So thanks for all the motivational videos! :-)

Very enjoyable biker scan 👍 Robs a cool bloke Choppers is a cracking cafe in a beautiful part of the world, we use it for a meet up point for when we go out on our road bikes Also only about 10 mins on tracks from Salisbury Plane, so we go there for a refuel when we are out trail riding. Looking forward to the weds video, looks a great collaboration.

I was down there for a wedding weekend just gone, try Willow café A22, breakfast there twice was good. Left the sunshine Sunday raining back home in Oldham

Mr. Flyer- "Stoic Metric" is certainly an original and valiant attempt. I agree with you about Geoff's brake usage, as brakes tend to be overrated (They are just an admission that you have done something wrong).

Love that Guzzi TT…a bike that I’ll make room for, to park in my garage! 🏍️🇬🇧🇿🇦👍

Great vid, great folks and good nosh, and not forgetting great roads. Can i suggest Moto Corsa in Gillingham Dorset border. Great dealership but an excellent cafe and also frequented by the local non bikers so must be good!

Excellent cafe, conveniently on the way to Thruxton circuit.

Had a buddy who was into the strange motorcycle phenomenon of not braking too. He got so obsessed with it he disconnected his brake light in the end. Personally I like to use a brake mainly to add a bit of extra heat to that freewheeling front tyre thats sat out in the breeze..

Bean juice contamination 😂 BMW guy was a legend. Makes you proud to be British

My Great uncle was killed in a Hampden, shot down off the Dutch coast. Great video Sir, makes me want a fry up myself. The Guzzi looks a cool bike, I quite like the way it looks 🙂. Cheers TMF.

Spent a weekend in the field there at a rally. Cracking cafe!

Well........ you had not been stopped 10 seconds and Geoff mentioned food (Fried egg)! I think the Guzzi looks fine. Then again i'm a bit old school. I have been to Choppers a few Sundays ago and had the Big Breakfast. Very good indeed and yes the prices are low for the amount & quality of food you get, especially in the south. Cracking roads too! Now that you have made me feel hungry and needing a ride, I am off to the Cotswold Diner at Seven Springs in Gloucestershire. I can definitely recommend it! Going to go by the back roads if I can wait that long for my breakfast! Really enjoyed the video and looking forward to the next instalment.

If you ever find yourself down in Sussex try the 1066 cafe on the A21 just past Roberstbridge, or there is the Sundown Cafe on the road between Bexhill-on-sea and Eastbourne where they regularly hold bike events.

Kawasaki certainly managed to make their 3rd incarnation of the 1000 versys questionable on the beauty front with that front end. Beauty and all that, guzzi does it for me!

An enjoyable watch Andy. Regarding the healthy eating, my head says don't eat any processed meat including ham. Unfortunately most hams are mushed up, messed around with and reformed to look and taste great. I was once in Morrisons supermarket at the deli counter and asked which hams weren't reformed. None of them was the answer. But when I walk into a place and smell the bacon, my will power disappears. Egg on brown toast with a few mushrooms is about the best option I attempt to order if I ignore my nose. Nice chap with the BMW.

Indeed I'm with you on the ham and as a general rule I don't eat any ham or bacon (despite loving the stuff)....but as it was a "Biker Scran" outing I made an exception....and it was worth it in this case, great cafe!

I flew a Nanchang CJ-6 about 20 years ago and it is a real stick and rudder plane (sans a tail wheel). It was a lot of fun to fly and what I remember about it was that it looked like a Yak 18 and it had the original gauges in it which were hard to figure out in a nonstandard layout and it had a sensitive rudder in it. all in all a very nice flying plane. It had pneumatic gear including the starter and the under carriage retracts plus it was about 300 HP if I remember right. If you ever get the chance go fly one, you will want one after you do! BTW: I wore a parachute at the request of the owner, aerobatics were intended...

Combe gibbet near Newbury , used to take my dt50 and then tzr125 there back in the day. Lovely ride from Newbury to hungerford and on to Marlborough then Avebury for the stones and silbury hill if you are out that way.

That's the thing about riding a motorbike, you meet nice, interesting people! Glad that you're now eventually looking at the food hygiene rating 👍. If only more people would. I really like the looks of the Guzzi and it's very practical. Had a test ride and found the engine and bike has real character, but just not my type of bike.

Yes I agree on the Guzzi, something about it I loved (character, build, exclusiveness) but in the end the looks and lack of "oomph" let it down for me.....and yes, since you alerted us, we are very much checking out those hygiene ratings!!

You must try Cafe Newt at Mirus 55 in Gillingham Dorset. It’s a bit of a trek for you but I don’t think you’ll find many bike cafes like that.

Were you up in west cumbria today, spotted a red GS with those square LED lights, Arai adventure helmet but had a jacket with hi-vis flashes on it.

I really like the tall older subscriber of yours on the S1000R. What a cool dude :) Would be cool if you could get a tour with him on yours crf250s on the trail he talked about. Another thing, why not get a get together with your chaps and talk about new bikes and what they think about them. Would be cool content, hearing what they think instead of constantly being bombarded by young folks that are hyped by the PR of the manufacturers.

Do you remember the old cartoon Rhubarb and Custard that's what the colour scheme reminds me of. Your right its a r80 gs !!.

As well as the food & ambience Biker Scran should score the car park = is it flat, tarmac or gravel & potholes, any dedicated bike area, safe exit onto road etc etc. Anyone who has dropped a bike in front of a crowd of other riders would cherish such potentially invaluable information!

That Moto is a bit busy for my taste, are those red rim weights too? So much going on with the colors one's eye can't settle down on any one feature, maybe with a yellow frame it would tie together better IMHO.

I like the idea of having a Guzzi, but not that Lego looking thing. Might have to try that cafe out though :)

The stoimetric mix you refer to is to do with fuel air mix. You are correct in that a fuel injected engine will achieve a more consistent fuel/ air mix over a variety of environmental conditions. (Benefits include smoother running and better economy). However, I think your viewers could conclude your sentences (circa 4 minutes in )Could lead them to think that the fuel injection is capable of negating the performance drop that is experienced on warmer days. It won’t ! The only way of avoiding a performance drop on a hot day (or in aviation terms at higher altitudes, the same law applies) is to use a turbocharger or a supercharger. This technique, will ensure the gas that gets compressed, prior to ignition, is maintained at similar levels to that on a cold day. (Fuel injection won’t do that !)

I prefer the Tracer 900 - lighter and more agile...but I might change my mind tomorrow - you'd be happy with either! Both great bikes...

One that I've stopped at. Really enjoyed this episode, like others have said; everything that's good about being a motorcyclist. You need to come a bit further south and try Loomies at some point.

Wouldnt bother, poor food, expensive, not a nice place to be at night and no atmosphere on weekdays.

Nice bike but in another Color scheme. The motorcycle magazines were very positive about the bike, it only lacked a bit of power. Ideal for touring. Not the most healthy choice of foods. And the fries need mayonaise or frietsaus. Here in the Netherlands we know about ‘patat’ or ‘friet’. Friet in the south of the Netherlands and patat in the north. We don’t eat them with ketchup.

I'm starving now.

You need to head further North for some proper food, The Old Smithy in Monyash up in the Peak District would easily put these places to shame
