S&S Cycle has been in the business of manufacturing high quality, high performance engine components for over 50 years. What started as a passion for speed, grew into the best known company name in the V-Twin high performance aftermarket. George Smith Sr. had to build his own parts to make his motorcycle faster. Now the company he founded manufactures the most prestigious line of "go fast" v-twin engine parts in the world. The company was started in the basement of his home in Blue Island, IL in 1958, and moved to Viola, WI in 1969. In 2004 an additional facility was opened in LaCrosse, WI.

,,,I enjoyed the information , but , next time wrap a rag around the lifter blocks to protect them and catch any minute chip after the cutter is used........That bolt cutter is heavy and cumbersome...........
What a great video...thank you, I do have one question that I am a bit confused on....when you set the front piston to "TDC" you are cutting the read cylinder/ piston push rods in this video and vis a versa. I was under the impression that as long as the piston is on TDC, that should be the push rods to be cut. As an example, front piston set TDC, "ok" to cut the push rods on the front piston because the cam lobs are on their lowest point. Please confirm and thanks again. Stan W.

,,,You have to understand the firing sequence , TDC - Compression stroke , both valves are closed [blow in cyl. with a hose] .... rotate eng one full turn [360 degrees] and see , that same cylinder is at camshaft overlap period , [both valves open] ,, blow in with a hose and feel no resistance,,,,,,,,,......
So we are cutting the front push rods when the rear push rods are on "Overlap"--not on TDC---correct?
