Bikepacking in Australia | 500Km from Sydney to Port Macquarie
Ойын-сауық
In this video, you will join me as I arrive in Australia and cycle north from Sydney.
I finally used my tent more often and followed some beautiful routes along the coast. I didn't have to spend my birthday alone and my stay in Australia wasn't what I thought it would be, but here we go, the beauty of travel.
I probably followed the tourist drives along the coast, but if you want to see my route in more detail, you can find my Strava linked in my Linktree ★

The alpaca homestead looked like the Wauchope region. Seems like you had a nice time. Hope your next adventure is as enjoyable.
I did Gold Coast to Perth 3 years ago for sure going back to do the outback

Why are Australians so obsessed with helmets?

Lol obsessed? It's the law here in Australia they save lives I'm surprised you did not get pulled over by the police for not wearing one.

@@peterkelly7226 That law doesn't matter. It isn't the law anywhere else. Any law with just a fine and no other punishment, and no possible way to force someone to pay unless they have a driver's licence somewhere in Australia, can't be taken seriously, especially when it isn't mandated for any other user groups. If helmets saved lives like you claim, they'd be applied to everyone doing everything, and lifejackets would be too. So keep on lolling; I'm certainly laughing at Australia and it's ridiculousness.

@@peterkelly7226 yes I do. I told you I do. I also told you it doesn’t matter and I told you that too. I’ve fined just four times in 33 years and never paid those fines because I don’t have a drivers licence, so there’s nothing that can be done to enforce it. It’s hard to respect a law that’s nonsense.
