Great bike! I ride a 2017 KTM 1090R and a 2023 KTM 350 EXC-F. Your 990 Adventure R is my favorite large ADV bike.

Someone spent a good deal of time and money upgrading that bike, looks great Greg! I assure you, a Motoz Tractionator cannot hold the ground with a KTM. With MTC off on my 790 Adventure R, I could easily spin my Motoz. You're not on a VStrom now Greg! - Frank

They definitely did thanks. It probably could spin a Motoz but this v grip rear tire spins really easy. It's kind of scary but I'll be a little easier on the throttle on pavement for now.

Nice! It's had some money spent on it. Braided brake hoses may help with the spongy feel. Enjoy!

@@TheBeardedGrump may have been a DIY version of his kit where he just supplies the parts and let's the customer do the cutting and welding

​@TheBeardedGrump do you have issues with the kickstand sensor killing the motor when you hit big bumps? I've heard some folks say the added weight of his kit at the end of the kickstand causes the kickstand to bounce just enough to mess with the sensor and it can kill the motor sometimes

@@cselsmeyer I haven't had that issue but to be honest I haven't gotten to ride the bike hard off road because I'm only 4 months into healing from a broke back. Hopefully that won't be an issue but if it is I'll find a way to bypass the switch.

Oberon 🤔Thanks, So My 1090 adv r has a bad o-ring in the slave cyl. Guess what...KTM doesn't sell you a o-ring...buy the whole slave cyl. And nope, ordered one from KTM parts online..wrong size 😂 My 1st ever issue with my 1090...what you gonna do. Upgrade I guess...Love the videos Greg, Glad you are back at it.

I'm pretty sure that the fender on mine is a KTM supermoto fender and the fork guards are from a KTM 85

Just promise me son that you will be real careful.

Damn good-looking bike brother. Other than KLR's I'm a KTM guy myself. My next adventure bike will be a KTM. I passed on the 990 I told you about. I'm looking at a 1190r if he can get the price right. Stay safe out there ridding.
