Biggie is a gorgeous example of a Pug. Tight curled tail, wonderful wrinkles and his eyes are set nicely...not bugging out. His markings are beautiful as well.

Good example of everything that is wrong with pugs nowadays! The muzzle is nonexistent, he will have trouble breathing. There is way too much skin... and yes the eyes are bugging out of the skull, its just obscured by too much skin. He is to bulky for his size and the slanted hindquarters will cause pain and problems when he gets older. Poor little fella :(

Because the Westminster Kennel Club does not care about the animals health.. This pug is exactly the breed standard the big breeding facilities and clubs decided on. For whatever reason. They want to see the traits of a specific breed brought to an extreme... If a pug has wrinkles, more wrinkles are even better, if a basset hound has short legs, shorter legs are even better. Really stupid! And along that way they forget about the health of the poor animals... If you like pugs, google "retro pug", they might not look as clowny and "cute" as the standard pug, but they lead longer lifes, with less health issues, they are more energetic... witouth being held back by not being able to breath after running for two minutes.

Nani Borgesen If “standard” means suffering, breathing problems, nerve issues because of their curled tails, I’d rather that than encouraging unhealthy and disgusting breeding because these animals are suffering for selfish people like you who think they're cute. @@fabrizio483 there is a chug a basic pug but all of its problems are fixed, eyes aren't bulging, tail isn't too tight, has a snout, not overweight, and doesn't even have extra skin/wrinkles.

It's good that he kept the pug fit and in shape for the show. As a former pug owner myself, it is really easy for those dogs to get overweight. And that is an excellent looking dog. Glad he made champion.

My pugs wrinkles were pretty much non existent because he was so lean. His little legs were muscular. Loved to go on jogs and even ate lots of veggies with his food. He was born without his left ear but he was precious.

I watch one sh!tpost of Shrek running a dog race and now YT thinks I'm into dog racing and has recommended several videos accordingly... I regret nothing
